'The Challenge': Cory Wharton Details His Future Retirement Plans

“The Challenge: Double Agents” season 36 has finally wrapped up for the year, and the outstanding winners are CT Tamburello and Amber Borzotra. 

During a recent reunion, the cast of the show came together to recount several moments on the show, that led them to the incredible finale. 

They all had a swell time during the reunion, and there was no doubt, this group of contenders turned family are looking forward to what the future holds. 

Fans are also anticipating what would become of Cory Wharton, as they want to know if the star has any plans of retiring from the series?

For many seasons, Wharton was viewed by fans as someone with great focus and agility, that in a way, he never let anyone or anything get in the way of his goal. The goal being the awesome money price. 

This behavior was noticed again in the just concluded season, and this time around, it was more intensified.

The 30-year-old made sure to stay clear of any form of drama during season 36, as his main goal was to win the prize money with Kam Williams by his side. 

The pair did all they could during the final days of the show, but placed second, which attracted a cash prize of $50 each.

Like many durable competitors, Wharton always finds a way to work through his difficulties and come back strong. It has happened in pst seasons, and it’s set to happen again. 

Coming in second place is an incredible feat on the show, and despite the fact that it’s nothing like the first position, it’s still a huge stepping stone. 

With the kind of confidence that Wharton builds himself on, it wouldn't be surprising if the TV personality gets his big break as the winner of “The Challenge” very soon.

It will definitely happen, but not anytime soon!

The question; for how long will Wharton be a competitor on the show? Has bugged a lot of minds on social media, but there’s no right answer that such a question.

While speaking the “The Challenge Official Podcast” recently, Wharton noted that he still had a long way to go on the show, as he intends to hit it big someday. 

The TV star also recounted that people like Darrell Taylor, went against many odds and competed till he was 41, so he still has a lot to offer.

According to reports, Wharton will be featured on the MTV show next season, after which he will likely take a breather. 

As fans know, the show is usually packed with surprises, especially when it comes to the casting list for a new season. However, things may have changed now, or someone is just toiling with fans. 

Either way, some stars who might be featured in the coming season include; Tori Deal, Aneesa Ferreira, Ashley Mitchell, Nelson Thomas and many more.
