Amazon MGM has secured the rights to a live-action "Bratz" film after a competitive bidding war, and Kardashian is being eyed to play the movie's villain.
While details about the storyline and full cast remain under wraps, Kardashian's involvement has already sparked buzz.
According to Variety film is being penned by Charlie Polinger and Lucy McKendrick.

Can Kim Kardashian Make 'Bratz' Compete?

Kardashian's roles as a villain and producer in "Bratz" represent another significant step in her evolution from reality television to a Hollywood power player, highlighting her growing influence.
The Bratz franchise has a history in entertainment, with a 2005 live-action movie from Lionsgate, several TV series, and video games. However, the initial film failed to make a mark at the box office.
Yet, Amazon MGM hopes to rewrite that narrative, pointing to Bratz's impressive track record of over 200 million dolls sold since 2001 and the highest social media engagement of any toy brand, according to the studio.
With the wild success of "Barbie," which raked in $1.44 billion to become the top-grossing film of 2023, Hollywood has gone all-in on toy-inspired films.
Projects based on Hot Wheels, Barney, Polly Pocket, and Rock' Em Sock' Em Robots are now in development across multiple studios.
Now, Amazon MGM is placing its bets on Kardashian's star power to help Bratz compete in this rapidly growing genre.

Kardashian Speaks Out Against ICE's Harsh Tactics Amid Trump-Era Raids

Away from the movie scene, Kim Kardashian has joined those slamming the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for its aggressive immigration tactics under President Donald Trump's administration.
As raids intensify across cities like Los Angeles, sparking widespread protest and fear, Kardashian is using her voice to demand a more compassionate approach.
Earlier in the month, she took to her Instagram Stories to share a heartfelt message condemning ICE's methods. She began by recognizing the agency's original intent, but stressed that the system was targeting the wrong people.
Kardashian wrote, "I understand the mission of ICE is to protect our country from violent criminals," before continuing, "When we witness innocent, hardworking people being ripped from their families in inhumane ways, we have to speak up. We have to do what's right."
Recalling her upbringing in Los Angeles, she emphasized the vital role immigrants have played in shaping the city, noting that they are "not just immigrants, but neighbors, friends, classmates, coworkers, and family."
She urged Americans not to let political division cloud their judgment when "it's clear that our communities thrive because of the contributions of immigrants."
Kardashian Echoes Doechii's BET Awards Plea

Although Kim Kardashian didn't mention Donald Trump by name, her message appeared to be directed at him.
She called for change, writing, "We can't turn a blind eye when fear and injustice keep people from living their lives freely and safely. There HAS to be a BETTER way."
Kardashian also reposted rapper Doechii's fiery acceptance speech from the 2025 BET Awards, where the artist criticized Trump and ICE for deploying military force against peaceful protestors in Los Angeles.
Doechii asked, "I want y'all to consider what kind of government it appears to be when every time we exercise our democratic right to protest, the military is deployed against us. What type of government is that?"
The "Alter Ego" crooner labeled ICE's actions as "ruthless attacks," and declared her commitment to advocating for oppressed people. She also urged fellow celebrities to use their platforms to fight injustice.
