The documents detail a disturbing sequence of events in which Barnett allegedly put his hands down the woman's pants, prompting her to kiss him. That's when he allegedly snapped, telling her she wasn't allowed to do that and that she was being punished.

"Is this what you f-cking want?" he reportedly said before proceeding with the alleged assault.

The victim claims she briefly lost consciousness during the attack, which occurred in front of their crying child, amplifying the severity of the situation. The "Love Island" alum previously teamed up with "Big Brother" 's Tiffany Mitchell on "The Challenge: USA," where the odds were stacked against them, especially after host TJ Lavin introduced a game-changing twist: randomized pairings via algorithm.

What began as a hopeful shot at reality TV redemption quickly unraveled when the duo was sent into elimination early, losing to "Amazing" Race alums Cayla Platt and James Wallington.

In a 2022 interview with Screen Rant, Cashel and Tiffany opened up about the experience, the brutal elimination, and where it all went wrong. The drama kicked off when Lavin ditched the original pick-your-partner format and let an algorithm decide the fates of the contestants.

"It was a setup," Tiffany bluntly said, while Cashel laughed, adding, "I feel like the results showed. There was some setting up going on."

The random pairings forced contestants to rethink alliances and strategy. "You never knew who you'd get paired up with," said Tiffany. "You could get someone strong or someone weak. It made us all say, 'Okay, this is different.'"

Despite the shakeup, both Cashel and Tiffany gave their all in a water-based challenge involving a fast-moving buoy. "Cashel did phenomenal," Tiffany praised. "He was totally fearless."

Cashel called it "fun," adding, "I took the fun for [Tiffany]. I was taking that weight off your back."

Still, elimination loomed, and it came faster than expected. "It sucked to lose," Cashel admitted. "The whole thing was a bummer."

Tiffany echoed the sentiment, saying, "Cashel was working his butt off... He was in it to win."

Barnett isn't the only contestant to emerge from "Love Island" with controversy.

Hannah Smith's rise to reality TV fame may have been short-lived, but her fall from grace has been nothing short of explosive.

The "Love Island USA" alum, who appeared on Season 6 of the hit Peacock dating show in 2024, has become one of the franchise's most controversial contestants after a string of shocking incidents that include racist remarks, violent behavior, and felony charges, including one for making terroristic threats.

In January 2025, Smith was formally charged with two felonies stemming from a disturbing altercation at a Gracie Abrams concert in Atlanta months earlier. The incident, which occurred on September 30, 2024, led to her arrest after she allegedly became violent and threatening toward police officers.

As far as Burnett goes, the 31-year-old appeared on Season 1 of "Love Island USA" in 2019 and later competed on "The Challenge: USA in 2022."

He has not publicly commented on the charges.
