Crystal Kung Minoff Reveals Kathy Hilton Brought Her To 'RHOBH'

Crystal Kung-Minkoff opened up about how she ended up as the newest star of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" during a May 10 interview with Extra TV's Terri Seymour.
Following the news of her full-time position on the Bravo reality series months ago, the 35-year-old mother of two revealed it was actually Kathy Hilton who brought her to the cast for season 11.
"I'm Chinese American. I have a coconut water company, Coco, Real Coco," Kung-Minkoff explained to Seymour when asked to describe who she is.

As for her personality, Kung-Minkoff said that she isn't afraid to stand up to her cast mates if need be.
"If I get pushed up against the wall or if someone's coming after me, I'm going to be strong and say my opinion," she explained.
In the trailer for "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" season 11, Kung-Minkoff, the wife of 58-year-old director Robert Minkoff, was seen feuding on a number of occasions with Sutton Stracke, who was added to the show for season 10 in 2019.

As for her own casting on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," Kung-Minkoff recalled a conversation she had with Hilton, whose sister Kyle Richards has been featured on the reality show since it began.
"I've known Kathy Hilton for 15 years but she just said, 'Maybe this is the year we do it together.' And I was like, 'Okay,'" Kung-Minkoff recalled, adding that while there will be "a lot of drama" throughout season 11, there'll be "a lot of fun, too."
The 'RHOBH' Cast Is Known To Break Out In Dance

Speaking of her "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" cast mates, Kung-Minkoff admitted that the ladies took her on quite the rollercoaster as she filmed the upcoming episodes in recent months.
"These women, they feel things hard and they have fun hard. These girls like, break out into dance. They act like they're in a Las Vegas club out of nowhere. Out of nowhere," she joked. "Someone's like fighting and they're like, 'Let's dance!'"
In addition to dancing, the ladies of the show will be seen discussing the divorce of Erika Jayne.

Following Kung-Minkoff's addition to the cast, news broke in regard to Erika Jayne and Thomas Girardi's divorce. And, as filming continued, the longtime cast member was seen opening up about the shocking split.
