Angelina Jolie is a world traveler. The 45-year-old actress and her six children have traveled to many locations throughout the years. One place that holds special meaning to Jolie is her home Chateau Miraval.
In 2008, Jolie and her ex-husband Brad Pitt were staying in the home as they awaited the birth of their twins Knox and Vivienne. The couple loved the house so much that they officially purchased it in 2012. With views of a nearby vineyard and lake along with amenities such as a swimming pool, it's no wonder the couple shelled out $67 million for the property.

In August 2014, Chateau Miraval served as the backdrop of Angelina and Brad's wedding. Unfortunately, the couple divorced two years later. As for who got to keep the house, the couple is still in an ongoing battle over the property.

France has become a second home for Johnny Depp. In 2001, the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star and his then girlfriend model Vanessa Paradis moved into a 37-acre estate near St. Tropez. Much like Depp, the mansion and the land is eccentric.

Aside from the enormous 12-bedroom house, the land also includes a restaurant and a small church. The estate's amenities include a swimming pool with outdoor entertaining area, and a wine cave. Throughout the years, Depp has put his own spin on renovations, which included converting the church into a guest house.

After purchasing the 1920s villa, Elton went to work adding redecorating the place. As an art lover, Elton decorated his home with paintings from artist Julian Schnabel.
