Kandi Burruss, is one of the longest-standing members of “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” and she has been responsible for top-notch entertainment and drama on the show for many years.

In essence, Burruss is one of the OG’s of the show and no one can take her place.

Although the reality star had an impressive musical career before joining the show, which she no doubt earns a lot from, dans would love to know how much Bravo pays her to remain on “RHOA.”

She was born Kandi Lenice Burruss on May 17, 1976 in East Point, Georgia, United States of America. She was the daughter of Reverend Titus Burruss Jr. and Joyce Jones. 

Burruss was a student of Tri-Cities High School situated at her birthplace, and she graduated in 1994. 

She has a detailed resume that ranges from singing-songwriting to TV personality, business mogul and actress. Although she seems to be taking one step at a time in her career, Burruss is solely focused on reality television for now.

Burruss Singing Career With Xscape

In 1992, Burruss was introduced to a girl band called “Xscape,” with sister, LaTocha and Tamika Scott. Later on, a fourth girl, Tamers Coggins, joined the group.

The group’s first album titled “Hummin’ Comin at Cha,” was released on October 12, 1993, and it recorded at No. 17 on the US Billboard 200. Within a year, the album became platinum.

In 2017, Burruss spoke to the other members of the group about starting a TV show and they named it “Xscape.” The show kicked off in 2017 on Bravo TV. 

In 1989, the group was dissolved and Burruss decided to pursue a solo music career.

Since 2009, Burruss has been an active member of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” and fans have watched go through different moments ranging from good to worse.

Initially, Burruss was always in disagreements with co-star, NeNe Leakes. The duo did not see eye-to-eye on a lot of things and even went as far as calling each other out on National TV. 

As time went on, fans shifted their focus from this unending brawl, to other aspects of Burruss’s life like her romantic relationships and life as a mom to three awesome kids. 

She was even awarded with a personal show called “The Kandi Factory,” and it centers on Burruss trying to find and launch artistes with incredible talents.

Bravo is one of the biggest reality TV company in the US and the globe. The network is responsible for broadcasting hundreds of shows in different parts of the country. 

So, it’s didn't come as a shock to fans when they realized that Burruss earns a lot of money per episode.

In 2019, Radar Onlinereported that Burruss earned an average of $2.3 million per episode, and her net worth in the same year, was estimated at a whooping $30 million. 

Kenya Moore also confirmed during a sit-down with Wendy Williams that Burruss earns more than her pairs on the show.
