Tom Cruise Breaks Silence After His Viral Moment With Brad Pitt Sparks Feud Buzz

Tom Cruise is letting the pictures do the talking after his headline-making red carpet reunion with Brad Pitt sparked buzz about an alleged feud.

Cruise has silenced the speculations that all is not well between him and Brad Pitt.

On Tuesday, the 62-year-old took to X with pictures showing him and Pitt together on the red carpet.

In the first slide, both men looked dapper in classy suits and sunglasses. The “Wolf” actor opted for a green suit while his colleague donned black.

Cruise and Pitt were all smiles as they posed side by side. The second photo captured the duo alongside some of Cruise’s popular pals.

“Great night at the movies with my friends!! You guys crushed it,” he captioned the post.

Tom Cruise’s post came shortly after the pair showed off their ageless looks during a red carpet reunion at the “F1” European premiere in London.

However, what was supposed to be a warm Hollywood reunion quickly became a viral talking point all thanks to an awkward moment.

A video shared on X captured the moment the duo exchanged pleasantries. It showed them having a quick handshake, bumping chests, and posing side by side for the cameras.

However, the fan who posted insinuated that the interaction was cold as Cruise and Pitt didn’t go in for a hug.

“Tom not immediately going for a hug oh they hate each other,” they captioned the post.

In no time, the comments section exploded with mixed reactions. On one hand, some fans agreed that Cruise and Brad Pitt were silently feuding.

“They really don’t like each other I fear LMAO,” one person wrote, while another commented about Cruise noting, “He put his arm between them like a shield soooo fast.”

A third person questioned, “Why though I swear down they played a gay couple in one movie.”

On the other hand, some fans argued that there was nothing going on between the duo. One tweep revealed that they had hugged earlier in the day and even tweeted pictures of the embrace.

Though the film became a fan favorite, Pitt later confessed that the experience was “miserable,” calling it “six months in the f—-ing dark” during a 2011 Entertainment Weekly interview.

Despite the on-screen chemistry, the two icons haven’t worked together again in a feature film, fueling speculation over the years about creative clashes or personality differences.

Their careers took parallel paths in the decades that followed. In 2001, they briefly appeared at the same charity event, A Tribute to Heroes, but kept their distance from each other publicly.

Following their recent reunion, fans have expressed hopes of seeing Pitt and Cruise in a movie together.

However, the “Troy” star recently revealed what it would take to work with Cruise again.
