Sofia Vergara Unfollowed Over Unclothed Bathtub Photo That's Not 'Classy'

Sofia Vergara is an actress best known for her role in the sitcom "Modern Family."

Although she is beloved on TV, she received a fair amount of criticism online for her Vanity Fair photo shoot in 2015.

Scroll for the photo. It seems that not everyone was a fan of her 2015 Vanity Fair shoot, which put the actress undressed in a bathtub as she showed off her curvy figure and glowing summer tan.

Most of the comments included complaints that she is living in a bubble amid the ICE deportations and criticized her for not speaking up on the controversial issue of immigration rights and policy reform.

Click here for the photo. One comment that got over 80 likes called her "so out of touch," while another user encouraged her to "stay classy," asking, "Is OnlyFans next?"

"This is where I block you. FFS, Sophia, Latinos all over the country are being prosecuted and persecuted. Can you hold off a minute showing us your naked body? Could you have a sense of decency or compassion for what’s happening all over the United States?" another comment read. This one got over 50 likes.

That said, some defended her and pointed out that modeling is her "job," adding: "She’s supposed to just not work while the country goes to sh-t?"

Users on The DailyMail also thought that the actress was self-centered. "I think she is having a midlife crisis.... all I see recently is her posing half naked for the camera...Have some self-respect Sofia," one fan wrote. It got over 70 likes.

During her appearance on the podcast "The Bald and the Beautiful" with drag queens Trixie and Katya, actress Kelly Mantle discussed her experience working with Sofia Vergara. Mantle had previously guest-starred as a drag queen in the 2019 "Modern Family" episode titled "The Last Halloween."

"It was not the most pleasant experience I've ever experienced," Mantle admitted, per the Daily Mail. "It wasn't toward me. It was the way that some of her staff were being treated."

She called Sofia the “rudest celebrity” and described an incident where Sofia reportedly refused to let the crew use bobby pins to secure a wig for a scene. "In the episode, she's wearing a wig, and they kept wanting to put bobby pins in it, and she kept telling them no bobby pins," she explained.

Kelly said Sofia then got upset during the scene when she tried to place a crown in her hair. "They yell action, and I'm supposed to put the crown on her hair," she recalled. "So I put the crown on, and then they say cut, and she's like, 'Watch out for the wig! You're putting the crown on my head!'" She then joked: “Well, girl, you should've used those bobby pins."
