Prince William Invited Robert Irwin To The Earthshot Prize Event

The Prince of Wales left a heartwarming message on Radio 2 today, Tuesday, to be played for Irwin during his appearance. Radio host Scot Mills did the honors of playing the message where the prince raved about the brilliance of his environmentalist friend.
"I know you've got the fantastic Robert Irwin on the show this morning, a brilliant ambassador for the Earthshot Prize," the prince noted.
He apologized for his absence from the show and promised to catch up with them should they accept his invitation to attend the Earthshot Prize, scheduled to be held in November in Brazil.
In his concluding remarks, the philanthropist shared a word of caution for Mills, suggesting that Irwin might unexpectedly pull a variety of frightening animals and creatures from his pockets during the show.
According to PEOPLE, William noted that this behavior is typical of Irwin, as he tends to display such antics whenever he is on air or interacting with others.

Last month, the United for Wildlife programme, led by Prince William and The Royal Foundation, created a pioneering new docuseries called "Guardians."
The docuseries, as reported by The Royal Foundation, was reportedly created to help reinvent the ongoing perception of rangers and nature protectors. It would also help bring awareness, visibility, and a sense of pride to an often unsung but essential work rangers do to secure the planet's future.
The docuseries was set to be released on Friday, May 23rd, on the award-winning BBC Earth YouTube channel and social channels, with subsequent weekly releases scheduled.
As a digital-first series, all episodes, ranging from 6 to 10 minutes long, will provide insider access and firsthand experiences of the lives of rangers and nature protectors working tirelessly to preserve biodiversity and ecosystems.
The series, conceived by Prince William, also features his voice at the beginning of the trailers and introduction for each episode. With his voice behind the speakers, Prince William would help showcase conservation heroes and present their impactful work.
Each of the six episodes drops the audience into the exclusive locations of the Guardians, who do the noble work of protecting the most endangered environments on Earth. The series was shot in some of the most stunning and complex places where the Guardians reside.
From the snow-capped mountains of the Himalayas and the distant rainforests of Brazil, each episode highlights the importance of these inspirational individuals.
"The rangers we meet in this series are an inspiration to us all. Every day, they take huge risks as nature's frontline of defense, standing between poachers and endangered species, supporting sustainable human-animal coexistence and fighting habitat loss," Prince William explained.
Robert Irwin Was Honored With A Wax Figure In Australia

The Blast captured Irwin's reaction to unveiling his iconic wax figure in Sydney last year. Irwin became the youngest Australian celebrity honored by Madame Tussauds with a wax statue.
The celebrity headed straight to the museum with his wax figure to grant an interview on how much the act meant to him. Appearing in true fashion, Irwin showed up on the screen with a snake hung on his arms.
"This is one of the most surreal moments of my entire life. This is just incredible. I keep looking at every little bit, going, 'It's me! It is me!' I don't know if the world is ready for two of me," Irwin gushed.
He was even more touched that his replica would stand beside his dad's at an event, as he had not imagined that in his wildest dreams. A tearful Irwin revealed:
"Dad, for the last 17 years of my life, has been pictures and video, and to actually see him kind of just standing there, it was a lot. It was actually a lot to take in."
Looking forward to a possible Robert Irwin and Prince William link-up later in the year!
