The woman suing Kevin Costner for sexual harassment over a movie scene has added new evidence to back her claims!
The legal drama began last month after stunt performer Devyn LaBella sued the Hollywood veteran for an unscripted rape scene in his "Horizon 2" Western film. She recently amended her complaint to add the text messages she allegedly sent to the set's intimacy coordinator.
Kevin Costner's issues with the media personality stem from his ex-wife's engagement to his former friend. The couple's relationship reportedly left the "Yellowstone" star feeling betrayed despite his multiple sightings with different women.
Stunt Performer Backs Sexual Harassment Claims With Text Messages Against Kevin Costner

According to new reports, LaBella amended her sexual assault lawsuit against Costner and the other producers of the movie to feature multiple text messages as evidence. The chats captured her alleged conversation with the film's intimacy coordinator, Celeste Cheney.
One of the messages LaBella sent to Cheney came a day after the unscripted rape scene that sparked the legal complaint. The text obtained reads, "I wanted to discuss yesterday's abomination when we both have a chance ... I was put in a really wrong position and it's really affected me."
LaBella also queried the intimacy coordinator about her absence during the controversial scene, stressing that it wasn't right for her to be placed in that position.
The stunt performer also took offence at her wardrobe during the scene and asked Cheney to explain why she was forced to do "non-stunt work, especially given the sensitivity of it," per TMZ.
More About The Problematic Movie Scene

LaBella's problems with Costner's movie first came to light in May after she filed a legal complaint at the Superior Court of California for Los Angeles County.
The Blast covered the story, reporting that the stunt performer claimed she was hired in 2023 to stand in for actress Ella Hunt during physical scenes or stunts.
There were no issues during filming for weeks until May 2023, when Hunt allegedly refused to shoot a scene with actor Roger Ivens. The latter was meant to "climb on top of Ms. Hunt, violently raking up her skirt;" however, she did not consent to the scene and walked off.
Hunt's refusal placed the burden on LaBella's shoulders as Costner asked her to replace the actress. The stunt performer, per her complaint, stressed that she was asked to stand in "without proper notice, consent, preparation, or appropriate safeguard measures in place."
The Stunt Double Was Allegedly Traumatized

LaBella noted the scene did not fall under her duties as a stunt double, but her issues with the moment only increased with Costner allegedly not calling "action or cut." After performing the "violent, unscripted, unscheduled rape scene," the media personality felt traumatized by the event.
She claimed the scene left her feeling "reminders of shame, humiliation, and complete lack of control," leading to her taking a few days off. However, when LaBella returned to set, she faced an "awkward" atmosphere and was asked to remain in her trailer and stay away from the set.
LaBella added that the uncomfortable environment plus the aftermath of the rape scene left her with "permanent trauma that she will be required to address for years to come." She alleged she began therapy in June 2023 to address symptoms linked to the event, including "sleep disturbance, fears of intimacy," and "anxiety."
The Hollywood Veteran's Ex-Wife Chose His Former Pal

Besides dealing with the sexual assault lawsuit, Costner's love life hasn't been rosy thanks to his ex-wife, Christine Baumgartner. The actor's former flame had found love again with his former close pal, financier Josh Connor.
Connor and Baumgartner announced their engagement early this year, with sources claiming they planned to tie the knot in an intimate ceremony in Hawaii. Unfortunately, their big day has caused a division between Costner and Baumgartner's mutual friends.
An insider claimed the former couple's pals have chosen sides, saying: "Kevin's true friends immediately cut off Christine and Josh and would never attend their wedding, even if invited. Their loyalty to Kevin is solid." The TV personality and his ex-wife ended their 18-year marriage in May 2023.
Kevin Costner Reportedly Felt Betrayed By His Former Wife's Engagement

Following news of Baumgartner's engagement to Costner's former pal, a source claimed the actor "felt sucker-punched when his kids told him about the marriage proposal." They added that the situation felt like a "betrayal" since it happened less than a year after they finalized their divorce in February 2024.
Despite his bitter feelings about Baumgartner's engagement, The Blast reported that Costner had been turning heads following multiple sightings with different women. He made waves for months for his relationship with the singer Jewel, but the actor denied any romance.
Last December, Costner sparked relationship rumors with Jennifer Lopez after they were seen bonding at Aspen's hotspot Kemo Sabe. Most recently, the Oscar winner turned heads in April for grabbing lunch with a mystery woman in Los Angeles. However, he has not introduced anyone as his new lover.
