The D’Amelio Sisters are taking their partnership with Hollister to the next level by creating a new clothing line of their own called “Social Tourist.”
The sisters, who have a combined following of over 200 million, have work with some of the biggest name brands in the world such as Orosa Beauty, Step Banking, Crest Toothpaste, and more. Charli D’Amelio is most famously known for her signature drink at Dunkin Doughnuts, “The Charli,” and Dixie D’Amelio is most notable for her collaboration with Morphe.
In early 2021 the sisters released their very own ring light called “Dixie Charli Ring Lights” which ranged in price from $24.99 to $99.99, depending on size.
…But now the sisters have turned their focus to their clothing line with Hollister.
The Sisters’ collaboration with Hollister isn’t their first, as both sisters have modeled for the brand through 2020 and early 2021.
Their new collection “Social Tourist” is set to release Thursday, May 20th, according to Hollister’s website.
“We’ve always loved fashion, and it’s been amazing to be so involved in this process,” Dixie said in a statement to People Magazine.
Charli told People that Dixie’s styles are “a bit edgier, with dark color palettes and patterns,” while her own designs will be all about ” super feminine and cute styles.”
“We feel like Social Tourist really represents both of us and explores how our generation is balancing who they are on social media with real life,” the sisters said in a joint statement to People Magazine.
According to People Magazine, In 2020 the sisters’ were the faces of Hollisters’ “Jean Lab” collection.
The partnership involved testing out different types of Denim to see which fit most comfortably, the collaboration also included internet celebrity, Noah Pugliano, and TV star Bill Nye.
“We hope that we can send the message that we can and should all feel comfortable in our own skin…Jeans are such a personal clothing item and sometimes it’s hard to find the fit you feel best in, but they are also a wardrobe staple, so working together to ensure there was a fit for everyone was really important to us,” The sisters told People Magazine in a 2020 interview.
@socialtourist Hmm idk 🤔
“Social Tourist” will be out on May 20th, and will be available both in-store and online.
The pricing of the line is unknown at the time of publishing, but one thing that’s clear is that this sister duo is not in need of another brand collaboration.
It is not immediately known how much the sisters will rake in from this collaboration, but judging by Charli’s $8 million dollar net worth, the sisters should be receiving a decent paycheck.
