After a clip of Drake joining Wallen on stage for his "I'm The Problem" tour went viral, users flooded social media with their thoughts about the surprising collaboration.

A third user criticized Drake for aligning himself with an "artist that used the N word on record," calling the move "wild."

"Drake tryna pander to a new community, I see," another commenter posted.

Drake Takes Even More Heat

"In what world did Drake think it was a good idea to associate himself with Morgan 'N Word' Wallen?" someone wrote on a different social media platform.

"Drake and Morgan Wallen are label mates, sure, but Drake's too smart to not know the message this sends, another posted. "And if it was a blind spot, that's what a team is for: to catch what you might miss. Unless no one around you feels comfortable speaking up..."

Although it's unclear why exactly Khalifa labeled Wallen supporters as "racist," the "Last Night" singer has previously faced public backlash for racially charged behavior.

In 2021, Wallen made headlines after a video of him using the N-word was shared online. He later addressed the scandal, admitting that his behavior wasn't "something I'm proud of."

"Obviously, the natural thing to do is to apologize further and just continue to apologize, but because you got caught, but that's not what I wanted to do," he said. "I let so many people down who mean a lot to me and who have given so much to me, and it's just not fair."

He added, "One thing I've learned already is, I'm specifically sorry for is that it matters. My words matter. A word can truly hurt a person, and at my core, that's not what I'm OK with."

The 32-year-old was scheduled to meet with local members of the NAACP Nashville chapter after the controversy; however, officials later confirmed the singer did not attend their meeting.

Wallen's controversial behavior, however, has continued.

In April 2024, The Blast reported on his arrest, which came after the "Cowgirls" singer threw a chair from the sixth floor of a Nashville bar, landing feet away from police officers.

The father of one was later charged with three counts of reckless endangerment and one count of disorderly conduct.

"At 10:53 pm Sunday evening, Morgan Wallen was arrested in downtown Nashville for reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct," his attorney, Worrick Robinson, said in a statement. "He is cooperating fully with authorities."

Wallen's bail was set at $15,250, which he later posted, allowing him to be released from the Davidson County jail at 3:30 AM.

According to a social media user who claimed to have witnessed the incident, the chair Wallen threw almost "took out 2 cops."

He later addressed the incident in a post, where he apologized for affecting "bar staff" before thanking Nashville police officers.

"Hey, y'all just wanted to clear the air. I went out downtown last night with a few old friends. After a couple bar stops, we were horse-playing with each other," he wrote. "We didn't mean any harm, and we want to say sorry to any bar staff or anyone that was affected."

"Thank you to the local authorities for being so professional and doing their job with class," he added in another post. "Love y'all."
