Dua Lipa Criticized For Hello Kitty Bikini That's 'Two Inches Of Fabric'

Dua Lipa turned heads with her minuscule Hello Kitty bikini back in 2023, and fans likely haven't forgotten the photo. Posing from a grassy outdoor space while in Jamaica, the singer showed off her vacay vibes in a tiny crochet swimsuit, flaunting her curves and ultra-toned muscles while posing with some fresh fruit. Holding a piece of watermelon, Dua sent out sleepy, lazy vibes, but her fans were wide awake. Comments quickly came in, with some noting the bikini's high price tag. One fan on X couldn't believe that "two inches of fabric" could cost the reported $325. Dua had modeled the GCDS Hello Kitty crochet bikini as she updated her Instagram from the Caribbean.

Rocking the Hello Kitty logo up top, the 29-year-old gave a nod to the iconic Sanrio character, looking cute, but also upping the ante with her display. Flashing her cleavage and hints of underboob, Dua highlighted her shredded abs while sitting cross-legged, with a bow detail on her briefs accentuating her gym-honed waistline.

Dua completed her look with her hair scraped back and a pair of shades atop her head, also flashing her arm tattoo as she looked relaxed. The pop sensation opted for a barely there makeup finish, possibly wearing a light layer of tinted moisturizer. Fans quickly reacted as the photo was reposted on social media platform X. "Someone make a dupe. Who is paying 285 for two inches of fabric be real," one fan replied.

The bikini's reported price is $325, however the user may have been referring to the 285 Euro price. Another fan, meanwhile, said: "There’s something creepy about grown women wearing child’s cartoon characters on their undies/ pajamas/ clothing."

Dua Lipa was modeling the above swimsuit for free as she promoted Versace two summers ago. Shouting out her La Vacanza collab with the Italian designer, she went viral in this multicolor print bathing suit, showing off her killer legs as she posed in matching, heeled sandals. Her mostly black look also came complete with a matching Versace logo tote.

The "New Rules" hitmaker has been an ambassador for Versace since 2021. She's also signed to French designer Chanel.
