Rob Gronkowski and Tom Brady may be out of the NFL, but they're not done wreaking a little chaos among sports fans when they're together.
Most recently, Rob Gronkowski and Brady were at the center of a viral moment during the Fanatics Fan Fest after a friendly toss of the Lombardi Trophy ended with the award snapping in two.

In a video shared by Fanatics owner Michael Rubin, the two Super Bowl champions were seen having fun with the Lombardi Trophy.
The playful moment took a shocking turn, however, when the iconic grand prize snapped in two after a catch by Gronkowski, prompting audible gasps and a stunned silence from the surrounding crowd.
“You broke it!” Brady yelled, running toward Gronk, who replied, "I didn't break it! You threw it way too hard."
The two former Tampa Bay Buccaneers teammates joked with each other before Brady branded Gronkowski "washed up."
Rubin captioned his post, "At least [Tom Brady] and [Rob Gronkowski] have a few more of those."
This Isn't The First Time Brady Has Tossed The Lombardi

Brady is used to passing the Lombardi around with his teammates.
Following their 2021 Super Bowl win, Brady's championship boat parade with his teammates went viral after he was filmed tossing the Lombardi Trophy from his boat to another.
He later admitted, however, that throwing the trophy wasn't his best idea.
"First of all, there was not a lot going through my mind at that point. That was...not smart for a couple reasons," Brady told Michael Strahan on GMA, per Bleacher Report. "One is, if we drop it, that's a little bit of a problem. But the worst thing that could happen is the edges on that trophy are so sharp, and had those things clipped one of my boys in the other boat, it would have been an ugly parade."
Fans React To The Broken Lombardi
Fan reactions to the viral video proved that audiences still can't get enough of the pair's brotherly relationship.
"Just unretire and get one more," someone wrote.
"To be fair, Gronk caught the ball ... it's what Gronk do," another posted.
"Imagine being so good you can tell Tom Brady he threw it wrong," a third commented.
Brady And Rob Gronkowski Get Real About Their Relationship
During a previous interview, Gronkowski and Brady discussed their legendary dynamic on the field and admitted that the start of their relationship wasn't easy.
"It took a while," admitted Gronkowski. "It wasn’t like I walked in when I was a rookie and we had it down. I would say [it took] about a year. He saw the potential [in me with] the page I can be on. At the beginning, we were up and down.
Later, Gronkowski jokingly called Brady a "meanie," adding, "It was basically to get me on the same page. I think he saw that potential that I had."
Brady also chimed in and explained that his tough love was "intentional."
"I had to try to toughen him up a little bit. I've got to see what I'm working with, you know? Kids have it so easy these days. We've got to try to challenge them a little bit," he continued.
Gronkowski Discussed Something Disturbing That Might Have Happened With Another Teammate

Aside from making headlines with Brady for breaking the Lombardi, Gronkowski also made waves by addressing rumors that former teammate Aaron Hernandez allegedly pleasured himself during team meetings.
“That’s a possibility, that one,” Gronk said while laughing. “I may or may not have seen it live. I’m not going to confirm or deny.
The "Masked Singer" contestant added, “I mean, I love crazy sh-t though, so I didn’t mind things like that. I was like, ‘Wow, that was pretty epic.’ I was a wild man myself, so nothing fazed me.”
Pivoting from the off-field stories, Gronkowski then boasted about the historic on-field success he and Hernandez experienced, specifically their dominant 2011 season, which included a combined 169 receptions, 2,237 receiving yards, and 24 touchdowns.
“We were the best combination at the tight end position of all time,” he said. “And that second year proves it. I mean we had like what—2,300 yards combined and like [24] touchdowns between just him and I, including playoffs and regular season. That's unheard of.”
