Dove Cameron made headlines for her braless selfies back in 2019, and she made even more for defending them. Shortly before the pandemic, the actress showed off her stunning figure in a flimsy, skintight top, going slightly sheer as she freed the nipple. Flaunting her toned waistline and killer curves, Dove had fans divided over her perky display, although for the fan thinking she hadn't "met gravity yet," the post was clearly a winner. Dove defended her Instagram images with a feminist agenda, saying: "This is being a role model. This is exactly being a role model." While some fans agreed, others slammed the whole thing, even accusing the former Disney star of being plastic.

Wearing a gold necklace to match her bracelets, Dove sported her signature blonde locks down, adding a matte face of makeup complete with foundation and a light layer of blush. Showing off her cherub features, she rocked a rosy pink lip, completing her glam with catwing eyeliner.

Following nasty comments left to her photos, Dove actually clapped back. "Take ur f***in bra off if you want. Don’t hide your natural body. People are weird, just because it’s "the norm" now to be ashamed of your nipples or your female anatomy or your period doesn’t mean they are actually bad or embarrassing???" she wrote.

Over 200 fans liked a damning remark on The Daily Mail as a fan basically accused Dove of having hard work done. "Lol natural body? She's changed her whole face and preaches about natural, bore off," they wrote. Over 160 fans, meanwhile, upvoted a remark reading: "But with her surgery facially and photoshop, she is doing exactly that. Hiding her natural body."

Then again, there was the fan thinking that Dove hasn't "hit gravity yet." Dove joins the list of feminine-strong stars known for freeing the nipple and refusing to apologize for it. Singer Miley Cyrus and actress Florence Pugh also love the trend.
