Things may be rockier than ever between Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom, as a new report claims the "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor found his fiancée's recent Blue Origin space flight "cringeworthy" and "embarrassing."

The couple, who've been together since 2016 and share a four-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove, have faced relationship hurdles before, including a brief split in 2017 and a delayed wedding due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

But recent signs point to deepening cracks in Orlando Boom's relationship with the "Dark Horse" singer.

According to Daily Mail, the brutal comment came "in the middle of a fight" between the couple, with Orlando Bloom allegedly telling Perry the whole thing "looked ridiculous."

"It hurt her feelings," an insider said. "Of course, she was hurt. Imagine going to space, motherf-cking space, and your partner isn't impressed."

These latest claims come after insiders alleged that Orlando Bloom "did not approve" and never felt "going on the mission was a good idea." The actor reportedly anticipated the "Teenage Dream" singer would receive negative reactions.

"He always thought it was a stupid idea, and she wouldn't get anything positive out of it," the source shared, noting that the 48-year-old ultimately became "frustrated."

Katy Perry's brief but headline-making journey featured an all-female crew that included Perry, Lauren Sánchez, Gayle King, Aisha Bowe, Amanda Nguyen, and Kerianne Flynn.

Lasting approximately 11 minutes, the flight reached an altitude of 100 kilometers, crossing the Kármán line, which marks the boundary between Earth's atmosphere and outer space.

During the mission, Katy Perry sang "What a Wonderful World" and held up a sheet of paper featuring the set list for her new tour. While the spectacle sparked mixed reactions, some labeling it a celebrity-driven stunt, others hailed it as a historic moment for female representation in space travel.

The pop star had reportedly hoped her longtime partner would be more supportive of the monumental experience. Instead, sources claim Perry is now "struggling to accept" that Bloom plans to attend the Italy wedding of Blue Origin's own Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez, the very people who made her spaceflight possible, without her.

"They're already spiraling," the source said. "And now the wedding is another thing that they have to fight about."

Katy Perry will be absent from the lavish Italian nuptials due to her commitments on the road with her "Lifetimes" tour. But insiders allege Orlando Bloom's eagerness to attend without her "feels like a 'f-ck you' to her," especially since he's not particularly close with Bezos or Sánchez.

Sources told PEOPLE earlier this month that Perry's latest album, "143," received a "devastating" response from fans and critics alike, with some calling it "AI-generated." That blow reportedly left Perry "deeply frustrated" and caused tension between her and Orlando Bloom.

"She was also disappointed in some of the tour reviews," another source told the outlet. "It's put stress on their relationship."

Insiders have since told Page Six that the romance may already be over, and the only thing holding them together is her tour schedule.

"It's over," a source bluntly stated. "They are waiting 'til her tour is over before they split."

Katy Perry has been candid in the past about their fiery dynamic. "Orlando and I, when we argue, we argue kinda hot and fast and then cool really quickly," she said in a 2024 interview. "It's like, 'La la la la la, I love you. All right, let's move on.'"

As The Blast previously reported, the disappointing reception of the pop star's "143" album may have been the final straw.

Meanwhile, Perry is trying to push the negativity aside. "You shouldn't read it when it's good. You shouldn't read it when it's bad," Perry said of the social media comments. "My therapist said something that really changed my life. What anybody thinks about you is none of your business. It's what you think about yourself."

Whether this latest fight is a bump in the road or the beginning of the end remains to be seen, but for now, it looks like the only thing orbiting Katy Perry is drama.
