The "Hannah Montana" drama just got real as Mitchel Musso has broken his silence over the recent drug claims.
Miley Cyrus stirred the pot, literally, during a wild episode of her family podcast "Sorry We're Cyrus," claiming that her former co-star had a habit of lighting up on set.
But now, Mitchel Musso is setting the record straight and throwing a slight shade of his own.
Mitchel Musso Breaks Silence On 'Hannah Montana' Weed Accusation

"That's not how I remember it," the 33-year-old actor told E! News in response to the accusation, before teasing, "I've got plenty of stories from those years that might be worth having a conversation about."
"If we're revisiting 'Hannah Montana' history, just say the word," he added, clearly unbothered.
Still, Musso insisted there's no bad blood, signing off with, "All love to Miley and the fam, even when the rewrites get this creative."
Musso played his lovable character on the hit Disney Channel series from 2006 to 2011, starring alongside Miley, her dad Billy Ray Cyrus, Emily Osment, and Jason Earles. The show ran for four seasons, launched a movie, and racked up Emmy nods, and now, over a decade later, it's making headlines for a very different reason.
Miley Spills' Hannah Montana' Secrets

On the podcast, Miley shared a moment that still makes her laugh, "Dad smoking pot and everyone blaming me for it," she recalled.
Her mom, Tish, and sister, Brandi, chimed in, laughing that even Mitchel got blamed.
"They were calling me saying 'B-Ray' was smoking pot, and I was like, 'Absolutely not, he would never do that!'" Tish said, before admitting that, yep, he definitely did.
Mitchel Musso Reflects On DUI Arrest

Though Musso's Disney career was cut short after a 2013 DUI arrest, and he faced more legal trouble in 2023, he's best remembered for his roles in "Phineas and Ferb" and "Pair of Kings," and, apparently now, for a joint he says he never smoked.
For those who don't remember, Musso pleaded no contest to a single count of driving with a blood alcohol level over 0.08. In return, he avoided jail time and will instead serve 36 months of informal probation.
As part of the agreement, he was also required to complete alcohol education classes and pay a fine. Had he been convicted on all charges, the former Disney star could have faced up to six months behind bars.
"I appreciate the court allowing me to resolve my case in the manner it did today," Musso told E! News in a statement following his DUI arrest. "In becoming an adult, I have learned firsthand that stepping up and taking responsibility is the best way to move forward. I am especially thankful to my family and fans for their unwavering support and encouragement. I am glad to now put this in the past."
Miley Cyrus Says Performing 'Hannah Montana' Tracks Was Off-Limits After Disney Exit

As for Miley, she's been reflecting more than ever. From sharing her struggles with family trauma to mending fences off-camera, the Grammy winner has opened up in recent interviews about everything from mental health to fame, and now, revisiting the wild days of "Hannah Montana."
During a recent appearance on "The Ringer" podcast, Miley Cyrus revealed that after "Hannah Montana" wrapped in 2011, she was reportedly barred from performing any songs tied to the iconic Disney Channel series that made her a household name.
"After I left Disney, I wasn't allowed to perform any of the Hannah Montana music," Cyrus said. "It's not like I wanted to, I mean, performing 'The Best Of Both Worlds' between 'We Can't Stop' and 'Wrecking Ball,' wouldn't have really made sense."
Miley Cyrus Says Disney Gays Are 'Fabulous' And She Was Basically Their First Drag Queen

However, despite the rumored missteps, Miley has reflected on her Disney Channel days with warmth, recently praising her fan base, especially those in the LGBTQ+ community, as "absolutely fabulous."
"There's Nickelodeon gays and Disney gays," she admitted in May during an appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live." She also said that Nickelodeon gays "like boogers and bro jokes, and Disney, I would like to think, is a little bit more fabulous. Especially if it's about a teenage pop star wearing a wig being the most famous drag queen for kids ever."
Looks like the teen sitcom had more behind-the-scenes drama than we ever imagined.
