On the most recent episode of Bravo's "The Valley," viewers watched as Brittany Cartwright officially filed for divorce from Jax Taylor, just days after he completed a 30-day stay in a rehab facility.

During earlier episodes, the mother of one had revealed that Taylor was sending her "rage texts" from inside the treatment facility. Now, on the after-show, she shared that he sent yet another text after being served with legal papers by a process server.

Jax Taylor Sent Brittany Cartwright Another Pointed Text Message After Filing For Divorce

While chatting with some of her co-stars, Cartwright described the text message she received from Taylor after he was served with divorce papers on camera.

"I think he texted me something like, 'Wow. Divorce, huh? I guess I saw it coming.' Something like that," Brittany revealed in the clip above. "Like, it wasn't mean, it wasn't aggressive, like I was thinking it was gonna be."

Cartwright admitted she didn't respond to Taylor's message, explaining that she wasn't "sorry" about filing.

Unsurprisingly, Cartwright was unfazed by Taylor's message, considering she had previously stated Taylor's 30-day stay in rehab hadn't changed his alleged reckless behavior.

"I don't feel like he changed at all in those 30 days. And the reason, I'm sure it'll be on the show as well, but, you know, a lot of rage texting and stuff was still going on the entire time that he was in rehab," she said, according to a previous report from The Blast.

"So, for me, I was just noticing, like, this is just going to be constant. Like, if you're in therapy seven hours a day, and you're still finding time to call me names and cuss me out? And send me rage texts? Then you're obviously not ever gonna change," Cartwright argued.

In that same interview, Cartwright further defended her decision to file for divorce, adding, "I'm so glad I did. I'm not changing my mind. I'm so happy with this decision."

Taylor, on the other hand, said he knew "the divorce was coming," but he still found the situation triggering.

"I mean, I would've filed if she didn't, but I was just shocked how it came about," he claimed during his own segment on the after-show, adding that he was "blindsided [by] divorce papers coming at [him]."

"It's already hard enough going through something like this," he continued. "But then, just to put it on national television as well, that's when I was like, 'Wow, she's playing dirty.'"

During a previous episode of his podcast, Taylor made a candid admission about his marriage to Cartwright, whom he met in 2015 on "Vanderpump Rules," revealing he knew he shouldn't have tied the knot with her.

“I think about it now, and I just don’t personally think I am supposed to be in a relationship,” the Bravo veteran said. “I just don’t think I’m supposed to be married. You know, I’ve known this my whole life.”

He explained that he believed his marriage to Cartwright would be "different," but "deep down inside," he knew he was "never the person to get married."

"I’m the problem," Taylor continued. "I get bored being in relationships. I don’t wanna be in a relationship. I just don’t like it.”

Despite that, Taylor said he "love[s] being a father" to his and Cartwright's son, Cruz.

In fact, the "House of Villains" star said that his son was the driving force behind him seeking treatment for his decades-long addiction to cocaine.

"It was very tough to come out, but it was something that I needed to do," Taylor said. "It was a weight lifted off my shoulders. I just needed to do it for myself, and I needed to do it for my son."

He continued, "Everyone's like, 'You should do this for you first.' I did this for my son first and then I did it for me."

"I want my son one day to be like, 'My dad....there was something wrong with him, and he fixed himself; this is why he's here today," he finished.
