Burrell got candid about her interest in Meghan's cooking show in April during an exclusive interview with The Daily Mail. She joked about wanting to appear on the series when asked if it were something she would do, saying:
"Sure, of course. I'd go to the opening of an envelope. Why not cook with Meghan?"
Despite being open to working with the Duchess of Sussex, Burrell confessed that she had not tried the former working royal's highly publicized As Ever jam. "I'm not really a jam girl. Occasionally, I make them for my husband," she explained.
"I make scones and we have jam then. Other than that, I wouldn't say I'm super jammy," Burrell added. She also raved about blossoming her relationship with her longtime partner, Stuart Claxton, and her stepson, Javier, claiming each day was filled with happiness.
Meghan Markle's Netflix Show Not A Hit With The British Media

While a famous chef like Burrell was open to working with Meghan, a renowned British media personality disapproved of the lifestyle series.
Early this month, The Blast shared that Esther Krakue, a popular political commentator, had slammed the Duchess of Sussex as "boring" in a scathing review of her show.
Krakue claimed Meghan was not "an entertainer or an entertaining person," arguing that she lacked the vibrant personality to host a show.
"It's very clear that she is not box office in terms of entertainment quality," the critic declared, noting Netflix took a "business risk" working with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
The media personality further criticized Meghan, accusing her of portraying herself as something she was not. However, Krakue believed the former working royal had what it took to be great in the entertainment industry if she switched to popular topics, such as her relationship with Prince Harry.
