The "Summer House" cast shakeup continues, as Imrul Hassan has announced his departure from the long-running Bravo reality series. In a not-so-surprising post, the season 9 cast member, who had minimal screen time during the most recent batch of episodes, thanked the network for the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

In his Instagram Stories, Hassan told his followers that he wouldn't be returning to the Hamptons in the summer of 2025.

Hassan Isn't The Only One Leaving 'Summer House'

Hassan's departure follows a similar announcement from veteran cast member Paige DeSorbo, who revealed her own exit from the show in early June 2025 after seven years with the network.

"I have a little life update for you: I've made the decision not to return to Summer House," she wrote in her Instagram Stories. "Being part of this show has been one of the most rewarding chapters of my life — the friendships, the drama, the giggles, all unforgettable," she continued.

"You've seen me grow up over these last 7 summers. I'll always be beyond grateful for the memories, the community, and the opportunities this wild ride has brought me. But like all good things (and some bad decisions), it's time for this chapter to close," the fashion influencer added.

"To my castmates, the fans, and my NBCU family: thank you," she continued. "I never could've imagined what this journey would turn into — and how many of you would be along for the ride. And you haven't seen the last of me, I promise. So much more to do together, but for now you know you can always find me and Daphne in my bed."

But could the "Giggly Squad" podcast host already have her eye on a return in the near future?

According to a previous report from The Blast, Amanda Batula, one of DeSorbo's long-time friends and "Summer House" co-star, said that although DeSorbo's exit was "tough to hear," she doesn't see her sitting on the sidelines for too long.

"I'm calling it taking a summer off," Batula stated. "I'd like to think that she's not done. I know that she is not done with TV. That girl was born for TV. So I know we'll be seeing plenty of her."

Batula also defended DeSorbo's choice to rest this summer, explaining that the filming process can be taxing for those involved.

"... I mean, it's exhausting to go out to the Hamptons every single weekend, driving back and forth, sitting in the traffic, all the partying, the drinking. It's a lot. And I think she went through it last summer, and she just needs a break. And I respect that," she said.

Batula Also Commented On Lexi Wood's Exit, Too

And DeSorbo isn't the only one Batula is disappointed about losing.

The 33-year-old also addressed Lexi Wood's exit, calling it a "bummer" before saying her tumultuous relationship with Jesse Solomon was "unfortunate."

"Lexi and I knew each other before," Batula continued. "I think it would have been great to have a girl summer, but I can't control what people decide to do."

In Wood's departure announcement, she seemingly shaded Solomon, with whom she broke up during an explosive episode of the show after a season of back-and-forth arguing.

"Well… that wasn't the summer I signed up for, but it definitely taught me a lot," she wrote online. "I stood up for women and for what's right, even when it wasn't easy, and I'd do that again in a heartbeat."

Wood continued, "I'm leaving Summer House with no regrets (Well… maybe one)," before saying she was "proud of the way I handled myself" and "proud of what I walked away from."
