In a candid interview with Vulture, Jason Isaacs pulled back the curtain on his time in Hollywood, particularly referencing wild on-set antics and tense moments with co-stars.

According to the veteran actor, one of the stars he collaborated with even pushed him out of a shot, adding that this individual was really prominent.

"Oh Jesus. Did worse than that. Was the worst bully ever and a global icon," Isaacs told the magazine.

He added about the individual, "Did all the old tricks of doing a completely different performance off-camera than on."

Reflecting on the experience further, Isaacs shared that he found the experience quite distasteful, especially because he deeply admired the individual prior to that incident.

Elsewhere in the interview, Isaacs shared more details about some of the toxic behavior from stars he has come across over the years.

"Mostly, what I judge on set is bad behavior," he began. "It's selfishness, cruelty, bullying, or people complaining to the person who's getting them dressed, who doesn't get in a year what they earn in a day to pick their filthy underwear off the floor."

He went on to say that some stars don't always take filming seriously, sometimes they just "go home early" or don't show up at all, even when scenes still need to be shot.

Others, he said, come to set acting like "they know better than the director," instead of following the script.

Even worse, some show up high on crack and bring prostitutes to their trailer to satisfy their urges, Isaacs claimed.

Despite his detailed recount of the toxic experiences, Isaacs refrained from naming anyone, including the individual who pushed him out of a shot.

He told the outlet that he is "not so stupid as to even give hints or clues" about their identities because he knows "where all the bodies are buried."

The actor then stressed that "acting is all about secrets," seemingly suggesting that it was against the tenets of the industry for him to divulge the names.

Away from the conversation about his Hollywood experience, Isaacs also revealed that he and his fellow castmates were paid just $40,000 for every episode they starred in the "White Lotus" series.

He described it as a "low amount" before sharing that it was easy to accept it because he never focuses on money, despite having the acting experience to request more.

"Do I mind that I wasn't paid more than other people? I never work for money. I mean, I've done all right," he said.

"People will think I have huge stockpiles of money, but sadly, what I've done rather immaturely is expand my outgoings to match my incomings and pretty much spent everything I've earned over the years."

Online, fans of Isaacs began speculating about whom he was referring to in the encounter he described.

Among the many names that were mentioned, Mel Gibson appeared to come up more, especially as Isaacs discussed with Vulture that the actor had said and done some things that are "unconscionable and unforgivable."

"I didn't even finish the entire quote before i thought Mel Gibson," a fan said.

The two had starred together in the historical action film "The Patriots," so there is no ruling out such a possibility.

Besides Gibson, Bruce Willis was also suggested by another fan.

"It's very likely Bruce, who has that reputation. Anybody who thinks it's Mel didn't read the interview; he even tells a story about trying to involve Mel in set hangouts," the fan commented.
