Bryshere Gray's fall from grace continues with more entanglements with the law, stemming from his allegedly volatile behavior.

The TV personality stole the hearts of many for his role as the stylish, talented, and sometimes unpredictable son on Fox's drama series "Empire." Although thousands loved Hakeem Lyon's character, he has lost numerous fans in recent years.

Bryshere Gray has experienced multiple run-ins with the law dating back to 2019 when he raised eyebrows for a traffic-related offense. The incident occurred amid the fall of his former co-star and TV brother, Jussie Smollett.

According to new reports, Gray has added another shocking mug shot to his colorful rap sheet. The once stylish heartthrob was nowhere to be seen as he looked almost unrecognizable compared to his past image.

Gray seemed unbothered by his latest arrest, posing with a smirk while rocking two cornrow braids parted in the middle. This style paled in comparison to his signature high-top fade with intricate designs. Even his skin tone lacked the brown-skin glow he once flaunted.

The criminal complaint revealed Gray was taken into custody on Sunday, June 15, for allegedly attacking a man at a hotel. The incident occurred last Friday, with the victim accusing the media personality of exploding without provocation.

The Alleged Victim Claims They Did Not Provoke The Actor

The drama between Gray and the alleged victim, a man named Dustin Wilkins, occurred in Chesapeake, Virginia, at the Homewood Suites. The pair, according to the complaint, argued over the actor's bill, but it was unclear whether they knew each other beforehand.

Wilkins recalled telling Gray he should cough up the money for his stay, but getting into a payment dispute appeared to fuel his anger. The alleged victim claimed the TV personality attacked him by charging at him from around his car and nearly knocked him down to the ground.

He stressed that he kept recording as Gray brutally attacked him, but that did not stop the actor. Wilkins claimed he received at least one punch and a "blunt blow" from Gray, leading to the latter's arrest on one misdemeanor count of assault and battery.

Gray's Legal Problems Date Back To 2019

Following his arrest on Sunday, Gray has reportedly regained his freedom after posting bail. However, he shall return to court for his arraignment on Wednesday, a situation he must be familiar with. The actor's legal problems began in 2019 after a traffic-related offense.

PageSix reported that Police spokeswoman Karie James confirmed Gray was pulled over in Chicago. He was stopped because his temporary license plate did not match the 2014 Rolls Royce he was driving, leading to his arrest.

Authorities booked Gray on a misdemeanor registration charge and gave him a ticket for driving an uninsured vehicle. He was also cited for failing to carry a driver's license. The incident went viral in 2019 because it came months after Jussie Smollett was arrested for allegedly faking a hate crime.

The TV Personality Violated His Probation In A Domestic Violence Case

A year after his traffic-related arrest, Gray was arrested for assaulting his wife and strangling her to the point of unconsciousness. The 2020 incident landed him in jail for 10 days, along with three years of probation after he pled guilty to felony aggravated assault in May 2021.

Gray returned to the wrong side of the law in 2022 following his arrest on probation violation charges. He was taken into custody after a woman claimed he turned abusive during their alleged romantic relationship in Maricopa, Arizona.

Her complaint detailed incidents where Gray allegedly threw food at her, shouted at her and even pulled on her hair. Because he did not tell his probation officer about these disputes, a warrant was issued for his arrest, per HipHopDX.
