Diddy's ongoing trial has been hit with Jury drama.
One of the rapper's jurors in his federal case in New York City was dismissed on Monday, June 16, 2025, due to errors in his personal details.
Diddy's defense team had earlier raised concerns over the court's decision to review the jurors' provided answers, even threatening to file for a mistrial should they go ahead with the plan.
Diddy's Federal Jury Reportedly Undergoes A Reshuffling After Error By Member

Juror Number 6 has been dismissed by the presiding judge in Diddy's case in New York City due to inconsistencies over his home address after sitting through over three weeks of testimony. The Juror had reportedly earlier disclosed that he lived in the Bronx and New Jersey at some point.
The judge explained that a clear understanding and integrity must be upheld among the jury. Therefore, Arun Subramanian noted that the Juror whose living condition is not clear enough needed to be dropped to eliminate the possibility of complications during the trial.
According to the information provided by him, Juror Number 6 identified himself as a 41-year-old Hispanic male of Black descent working with the Department of Corrections.
He revealed that he is employed as a head accountant clerk at Edgecombe Correctional Facility in Upper Manhattan, where he maintains the payroll of corrections officers.
His background also included a plethora of legal problems, including a suit with the Port Authority with an injury in his back and an arrest on insurance fraud following a car crash.
Additionally, TMZ reported that Juror number 6, despite being a Bronx resident, stood out as a New York Mets fan rather than a Yankees fan and that he enjoyed reggaeton music and 90s hip-hop.
The Music Mogul Raised Allegations Of Mistrial Following Juror Change

On June 15, before a final decision was made, Diddy's legal team urged Subramanian to rethink his decision to boot the Juror off. According to the rapper, while the jurors' errors exist, it is a larger play of pretense by the government to eliminate the already few black jurors on the panel.
The rapper's attorneys added that the inconsistencies spotted in the Jurors' information do not make them unfit to be on the jury. They picked excerpts from the judge's speech on Friday, noting:
"The subject matter of what was being addressed is so far afield from the juror's performance."
His team continued that there is no justification for the judge to dismiss the Juror without further inquiry, stressing that it posed a risk for the inclusion of people of color on any jury in the future.
They recalled several instances of the use of force and prejudice during raids by the government on the rapper and several cases of abuse during the investigation.
TMZ reported that Diddy then rounded up his argument, emphasizing that should the Juror be kicked off, he would file a motion for mistrial.
The Rapper's Attorney Claimed A Plaintiff Provided Inconsistent Evidence

Last week, The Blast shared that the rapper’s legal team noted a discrepancy in the evidence tendered by a plaintiff on the 20th day of his court hearing. Bryana Bongolan had accused the rapper of dangling her over the balcony of his ex-girlfriend’s apartment, which was on the 17th floor.
Diddy’s team then countered the testimony, claiming the images provided by Bongolan were inauthentic. The pictures reportedly showcased injuries the plaintiff sustained during the incident.
According to them, the metadata extracted from the alleged images bore completely different information from the purported scene of the incident, as claimed by Bongolan.
The metadata information suggested that the photos were taken when Diddy was on the East Coast and not from the apartment in California. Due to these errors, the rapper’s lawyers were motivated to file for a mistrial based on false testimony.
The Record Label Executive Previously Got Slammed By The Judge

Before the new Juror controversy, the rapper got into minor trouble with the Judge for his body language with members of the jury during a court session.
Subramanian was reportedly prompted to call the mogul to order after he noticed his questionable facial expressions towards their section. He even threatened to have him removed from the court premises should he continue to give the jury a stare-down.
Aside from the stare, Diddy was also reportedly nodding aggressively at the juror's comments, a behavior the Judge found unacceptable. He stressed the possible consequences of continuing with such "unacceptable" behavior to the rapper's lawyers.
Kanye West Crashed Diddy’s Trial

Diddy’s trial has been attended by his family, including his 18-year-old twins and, most notably, his colleague and friend, Kanye West. Ye arrived in court dressed to the nines and was ushered in by Diddy’s son, Christian Combs.
The rapper reportedly spent approximately 60 minutes on the premises but did not enter the courtroom where the trial was taking place. Ye made it known to the press that he was indeed there to offer moral support to his friend, doubling down on his earlier online support.
Ye had previously claimed Diddy was innocent and only being witch-hunted for his status as a successful black man. The father-of-four has also urged President Donald Trump to consider granting the rapper a pardon.
