Reneé Rapp has always been a vocal supporter of Megan Thee Stallion, and that loyalty was on full display during the singer's new interview with comedian and host Ziwe.

While speaking about Megan Thee Stallion with Ziwe on her show, the conversation shifted to Tory Lanez and recent headlines detailing his stabbing while in prison.

However, Reneé Rapp was not moved by the news, sharing a shocking and unapologetic statement about the chilling events.

In May 2025, representatives for Lanez, 32, updated his supporters on Instagram with a post about his stabbing.

The statement began, "Tory was stabbed 14 times — including 7 wounds to his back, 4 to his torso, 2 to the back of his head, and 1 to the left side of his face."

"Both of his lungs collapsed, and he was placed on a breathing apparatus. He is now breathing on his own," it continued.

His team added, "Despite being in pain, he is talking normally, in good spirits, and deeply thankful to God that he is pulling through."

"He also wants to thank everyone for their continued prayers and support," the post concluded.

It's safe to say, however, that Lanez's team wasn't referring to Rapp when they mentioned support.

On Ziwe's show, the "Poison Poison" singer made it clear the rapper's frightening incident didn't faze her, noting, "I feel like a lot of people get stabbed and like that's ok."

"Maybe we should be doing it more. Maybe we should be stabbing more ... shiv in the pocket," she said.

And her fiery comments didn't end there, either. When the conversation shifted to rapper Drake signing a petition for Lanez to be pardoned, Rapp took the ultimate jab.

"That's so tired," she said. "I love Kendrick Lamar," she added, hinting she is firmly on Lamar's side in his beef with Drake, which culminated in Lamar's Billboard No. 1 hit "Not Like Us" and its performance at the most recent Super Bowl.

Reneé Rapp Has Always Supported Megan Thee Stallion

Rapp's comments about Lanez aren't the first time the "Mean Girls" performer has spoken in support of Megan Thee Stallion.

While promoting the musical adaptation of Tina Fey's 2004 classic, Rapp defined herself as a "true Meg supporter."

She, of course, threw shade at Lanez during the interview, too, adding, "And I hate that other man."

"So, I love Megan Thee Stallion. I love her. And if anybody tries her, when it comes to that sorry a-s man, it's a do or die fight for me," she finished.

The pair even teamed up to create a catchy single for the 2024 "Mean Girls" movie called "Not My Fault," which currently has over 18 million views on YouTube.

Days after Lanez's stabbing incident, the rapper's dad, Sonstar Peterson, appeared on Chris Cuomo's NewsNation show to discuss the matter.

He also opened up about his son being moved to a different prison, stating, "It's one of the things that we've been concerned about."

He continued, "But he's being moved because it's a part of the prison's protocol that when a situation like this happens, I think they believe it's better for him to be in another facility and so he's being moved as we speak."

Peterson also discussed Lanez's recovery process, adding, "He is doing well," but admitted he was worried about his son's safety moving forward.

He continued, "[Tory Lanez] is the victim. He never provoked this incident in prison and anybody that knows him. In fact, I have met many people who went there to visit him, my wife and I, that will tell you that he is someone who is liked. He is not someone who is a troublemaker."

The website also reads, "BITE ME encourages listeners to embrace every facet of their personality, the chaotic and the confident, and to be authentically, unapologetically themselves."

The album announcement was accompanied by the release of the project's lead single, "Leave Me Alone," which can be listened to here.
