Michael Jordan is making the headlines again, and this time, it is for one of the most bizarre reasons.
Recently, the NBA icon's name unexpectedly surfaced in Diddy's ongoing federal trial after court testimony revealed that the disgraced rapper would role-play as Jordan during some of their freak-offs.
In the wake of the shocking revelation, Jordan's thoughts on the matter have now been made known.
According to a source, the 62-year-old, who is on vacation with his family in Sardinia, Italy, finds the situation "weird" and doesn't want to be involved in any way.
Michael Jordan Responds To News Of Diddy Role Playing As Him During Freak Offs

Jordan has built a legacy and would not like his name to be associated with any controversy.
The former basketball player made it clear recently when he responded to news that his name had come up at Diddy's trial.
Speaking exclusively to the Daily Mail, an insider revealed, "Michael was made aware of what Diddy may or may have not got himself into with role-playing as Michael himself. Michael is not going to play with any of that, he is steering clear because he thinks it is weird."
The source also noted that Jordan was enjoying a good time with his family in Italy and didn't want anything to interrupt it.
"We aren't going to be getting any new crying memes over this revelation…Mike has to avoid the noise and live his life. He doesn't want to be linked with weird stuff, Diddy or anyone else does. He is happy and looking to forget about the revelation just as soon as he was made aware of it," they said.
Details Of The Bizarre Revelation

Jordan's name surfaced after 'Jane,' the alias used by Diddy's ex-girlfriend, testified that during their alleged "freak offs," Diddy, she, and a male escort named Paul would role-play as NBA legends.
According to her, she would play Kobe Bryant, the escort was Shaquille O'Neal, and Diddy called himself Michael Jordan.
Doe revealed this during cross-examination on June 10, 2025, by Diddy's attorney, Teny Geragos.
"If I had to do what I had to do, at least there was somebody who had a warm energy about them," she added of Paul, one of her preferred partners for the drug-fueled sexual encounters.
Michael Jordan's Son, Marcus, Gets Entangled With The Law

Diddy's ongoing case isn't the first time in recent months that Jordan's name has surfaced for the wrong reasons.
In February, the star landed in the news after his son Marcus was arrested in Florida. At the time, Marcus was charged with DUI, resisting arrest, and cocaine possession after police found his Lamborghini stuck on railroad tracks.
However, the cocaine charge was later removed after the Florida Department of Law Enforcement confirmed the substance was actually ketamine, prompting prosecutors to amend the charge to ketamine possession, a less severe third-degree felony.
The change meant that Marcus could receive lighter penalties despite still facing DUI and resisting arrest counts.
Jordan Opens Fourth Free Health Clinic In His Hometown

That same day, Michael Jordan became a hero once again after he opened his fourth Michael Jordan Family Medical Clinic in North Carolina, providing vital health services to uninsured and underinsured families.
Unveiled in Wilmington, the 7,300-square-foot facility features 12 exam rooms and operates weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., in partnership with Novant Health.
Funded by a $10 million donation from Jordan, the facility marked his second clinic in Wilmington, building upon two earlier Charlotte locations launched in 2019 and 2020.
The first Wilmington site served nearly 1,800 patients within its first nine months, addressing barriers such as transportation and costs.
Michael Jordan Reportedly Wants To Expand His Initiative

Following the commissioning of the fourth clinic, reports revealed that Jordan planned to take the initiative nationwide, inspiring other celebrities to follow suit.
In an interview with In Touch, an insider revealed the icon's philanthropy stemmed from his concern for the lack of access to healthcare for underprivileged communities.
They shared that Jordan was doing more than just contributing financially. According to them, he ensured that experienced doctors were deployed in areas that needed them most.
"He's personally involved in making sure these clinics are staffed with the best doctors, that they're in locations where they're needed most, and that families don't have to jump through hoops to get help," the source told the outlet.
