Sofía Vergara works on her tan in nothing but a thong!

The "Modern Family" alum appeared to be enjoying the hot season. Vergara took advantage of the warm weather by relaxing outside in the sunshine without her bikini top.

The actress shared the picture on Instagram, racking up over 1.4 million likes since going live on Instagram.

Vergara, 52, took a selfie while lounging by the swimming pool. She was seen laying her stomach down across a towel while facing the lens, looking to the side with a sultry expression. The Colombian beauty used her right hand to hold a sunscreen from Toty, which she proudly showed off to the camera. Her perky derrière made an appearance in the shot.

Vergara went completely topless for the occasion. On her lower half, her itty-bitty black swimwear did way more showing than covering up. The barely-there bottoms were hardly visible themselves. It boasted a scandalous thong style that left her pert booty exposed in its entirety -- though her fans hardly seemed bothered by the NSFW showing of skin. Meanwhile, its thin waistband -- the other part of the piece that fans could see in the snap -- sat high up on her hips, accentuating the actress' trim waist and physique.

Vergara seemed to have ditched the accessories, allowing her killer curves to take center stage. However, she opted for minimal makeup, but just the right amount that enhanced her striking features. The "America's Got Talent" judge parted her brunette locks in the center and left the long strands falling over her shoulders, which helped obscure her chest.

Vergara wrote something in Spanish in the caption, which translates to, "My thing is summer!"

She recalled, "I grew up in very tropical weather in Barranquilla, Colombia, and there was no one ever telling you, 'Don't get sunburn' or 'Don't tan,'" adding. "I wish I had made that decision sooner also for the rest of my body, but I didn't. I just thought to save my face, and that was it. So, I haven't had my face in the sun without protection since the '90s."
