Angelina Jolie reportedly has no plans to find love anytime soon after her split from Brad Pitt.

The two finalized their divorce in December 2024, but even before then, Pitt seemed to have moved on with jewelry designer Ines de Ramon.

As for Angelina Jolie, she is said to be steering clear of romance as she has "difficulty trusting" and is terrified of getting "hurt again."

Despite turning 50 last week, Jolie remains as stunning as ever and is now fully eligible to move on to a new chapter in love after recently settling her divorce from Brad Pitt.

However, such a move is said to be unlikely, as the entire "trauma" of the split has reportedly left her broken and distrustful of the male gender.

"Ange still has difficulty trusting," a source told Radar Online about the actress who shares six children with her ex-husband. "I don't know if she'll ever fully get over the trauma of her divorce."

Speaking further about Jolie's feelings, the anonymous pal claimed that while the actress is long over her Pitt, she still feels it's best to prioritize her kids and career over romance.

"Ange is not in the same place as Brad since the divorce, even though she is over him," added the friend. "She's focused on her children, finding peace, and keeping her life private."

The Actress Is Terrified Of Getting 'Hurt Again'

Another source echoed the same sentiments as Jolie's pal, with the added angle that the actress is terrified of suffering the same pain she felt from her failed marriage to her "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" co-star.

"There's a reason Angelina is still single, and it's not for a lack of men lining up to date her," the insider shared. "She keeps them at a distance because she's terrified of getting hurt again the way she did with Brad."

Much of the hurt being referenced seemed tied to Pitt's alleged long-standing pattern of abuse, which was said to have begun well before the infamous 2016 incident in which he was reported to have been violent toward her and their children aboard a private jet.

Pitt, as claimed by Jolie amid their divorce battle, also tried to financially drain the actress, especially over their still ongoing feud with regards to their then-winery asset Château Miraval.

Brad Pitt's Bond With His Children Is Strained

Unsurprisingly, the former couple's marital issues led to a custody battle that only further ripped apart the family bond.

Eventually, the children seemed to pick sides in favor of Jolie, despite Pitt being granted joint custody with the actress.

This became clear when Pax, whom Pitt and Jolie adopted, took to social media in 2020 to slam his father, describing him as a "terrible and despicable person" as well as an "awful human being."

It was then seemingly confirmed when People Magazine reported last year that Pitt has had "virtually no contact" with his older kids for a long time.

At the time, it was also said that while he still has "visitation" rights with the younger kids, twins Vivienne and Knox, Jolie has the children "most of the time."

After nearly a decade of court battles, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie finalized their divorce in December 2024.

While Jolie didn't make any public comments about the decision, her lawyer, James Simon, told People Magazine that the actress "has focused on finding peace and healing for their family" all through the period the divorce battle lasted.

"This is just one part of a long, ongoing process that started eight years ago," the attorney further shared. "Frankly, Angelina is exhausted, but she is relieved this one part is over."

As for Pitt, he revealed that he felt "relieved" about that part of his life before going on to say that it wasn't a huge deal to him.

"No, I don't think it was that major of a thing," the actor said during an interview with GQ. "Just something coming to fruition. Legally."

While Jolie seems to be having issues finding love again, Pitt has since begun a flourishing romance with jewelry designer Ines de Ramon.

"Brad Pitt is happy that the divorce is behind him," an insider told People. "Things are low-key for the family."

Pitt is now focusing on the future, personally and romantically, by embracing a new chapter in his life with de Ramon.

"They're in a great place," a source noted about the couple. "Life's good, no complaints."
