The cries against Donald Trump grow louder, with celebrities like Doechii using their platforms to call out the President's "ruthless attacks."
The "Anxiety" hitmaker recently shared her worries about the POTUS' use of military force to stop the ongoing protests against ICE and his administration. She blamed the politician for destroying the country and implored others to stand up against injustice.
Doechii isn't the only celebrity to criticize Donald Trump's regime, as stars like Chrissy Teigen and California Governor Gavin Newsom have also criticized the President for wreaking havoc on the nation.
Doechii Takes Political Stance During Her Acceptance Speech At The BET Awards

Although the 2025 BET Awards marked Doechii's debut at the prestigious ceremony, she could not accept the trophy for Best Female Hip Hop Artist on Monday night without addressing the protests and police interference.
During her acceptance speech, she reflected on the clash that happened in downtown Los Angeles hours before the event, saying:
"I do wanna address what's happening right now outside of the building. Um, there are ruthless attacks that are creating fear and chaos in our communities in the name of law and order. Trump is using military forces to stop a protest."
"And I want y'all to consider what kind of government it appears to be when every time we exercise our democratic right to protest, the military is deployed against us. What type of government is that?" Doechii asked, implying that Trump was running a tyrannical administration.
She further bashed the ICE raids, as seen in the video shared on X, claiming they were tearing people from their families.

Doechii stressed that the dire situation made her feel it was her responsibility to use her platform to speak out against the injustices numerous people were facing. She claimed she was standing on the podium in support of "all oppressed people," from Blacks to Latinos, the people in Gaza, and trans people.
The rapper implored other celebrities to join the cause, declaring: "We all deserve to live in homes and not in fear, and I hope we stand together, my brothers and my sisters, against hate, and we protest against it."
Despite her moving words, the comments were divided between supporting and condemning her. Some Trump supporters claimed Doechii fought against the ICE raids and the President because she was an "immigrant."
Another critic implied the entertainer was a "paid activist," while a third alleged that the "majority of Americans agree with mass deportations."Meanwhile, Doechii's fans labeled her an "Absolute queen" for fighting for the oppressed.
Chrissy Teigen Implores Fans To Join The Protest Against Donald Trump

As stated, Doechii isn't the only celebrity against Trump's administration, with The Blast covering Teigen's recent pleas for fans to join the protests. She called out the President on Instagram, sharing a flyer of his face with the words: "NO KINGS MASS PROTEST JUNE 14, 2025."
Teigen shared more about the upcoming protest in the post's caption, stressing that Trump was not a king and needed to be reminded of that fact on June 14. She called BS on the military parade the White House claimed was to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States Army, writing:
"Trump is throwing himself a $45 million dollar birthday party - a big military parade like some of his authoritarian idols have done."
Teigen stressed that the military parade, which fell on the same day as Trump's birthday, was not a coincidence but a pretext for him to have a lavish celebration.
"How ironic that the Continental Congress originally established an Army, headed by George Washington, to fight against the very tyranny that Trump espouses," she added.
California Governor Gavin Newsom Is On The Criticism Train

Governor Newsom also joined the voices criticizing Trump amid ongoing protests in Los Angeles. He labeled the politician a "STONE COLD LIAR," claiming his immigration policies would incite a civil war and accused him of putting lives at risk by mobilizing the National Guard without justification.
Newsom also denied Trump's claims that he was warned about the POTUS calling in California's National Guard if the protests escalated. He claimed those comments were "totally and completely untrue" but acknowledged the severity of the protests that have since turned violent.
The Governor condemned the acts of vandalism and arson during the protests, noting that those responsible for such violent behavior should be arrested. He said that the chaos these people brewed took away the importance of the demonstrations and implored the public to return peace to the streets.
Donald Trump Reportedly Threatened To Arrest The Governor

According to Politico, Trump declared on Monday, June 9, that he would throw Newsom behind bars for failing to de-escalate the protests in Los Angeles. "I'd do it if I were [border czar Tom Homan]. I think it's great. Gavin likes the publicity," the POTUS told reporters.
"He's done a terrible job. I like Gavin Newsom. He's a nice guy, but he's grossly incompetent, everybody knows," Trump added. Despite him blaming Newsom for the situation, tensions only escalated in response to the President's deployment of the National Guard on Sunday night.
Protesters reportedly blocked a freeway and burned down self-driving cars while law enforcers retaliated with tear gas, rubber bullets, and flash bangs. As for Newsom, he mocked border czar Tom Homan as a "tough guy" while daring him to arrest him on Trump's orders.
Will the cries against Donald Trump's administration invoke change or spell trouble for his critics?
