RenderATL Returns: Where Tech Innovation Meets Southern Charm & ‘Cultural Flair'
By Melanie VanDerveer on June 10, 2025 at 1:30 PM EDT

RenderATL is about to return to Atlanta for an unforgettable conference that blends software innovation with Southern hospitality and celebrity guests.
This year’s speakers include professionals from Google, Reddit, Zillow, Disney, Yahoo, Microsoft, DraftKings, CreditKarma, SalesForce, Netflix, and many others.
Justin Samuels, Founder and CEO of RenderATL, sat down with The Blast to talk about the upcoming tech conference and how he sees RenderATL growing in the future.
Blending Code, Culture, And Community: RenderATL

From June 11 to 13, 2025, education, “cultural flair,” diverse food, entertainment, and more will collide for the tech event of the year in Atlanta.
“RenderATL is a technology conference for continuing education professionals, meaning people who are technology professionals out here. We want them to get the latest and greatest in code, design, product management, even things like executive management,” Samuels told The Blast exclusively.
“It began because we wanted a place that people can come to feel comfortable, enjoy good food while having a great time while learning everything about the world of tech.”
RenderATL Isn't Only About Education

Samuels, whose career background is in software engineering, said the conference is rooted in education so people can become who they want to become and learn new things in a fun way.
“The vision overall has gone from only being a conference and now to other cultural aspects,” he said. “Celebrity guests and musical artists bring amplification that isn’t usually a spotlight on a technology or true technical conference.”
He said celebrities and musical guests also bring some added “cultural flair” because “at the end of the day, music is what bonds everybody.”
Previous conferences included many guest speakers and celebrities. A few past speakers include former NFL player and current podcaster, Shannon Sharpe, professionals from Wix, Revolt, Netflix, Mozilla, and many others.
Music Is An Important Aspect

Aligning the conference with music is something that Samuels said came to him while at his day job.
“I’m able to notice one thing and that’s everyone has on headphones. It isn’t because they are wanting to tune everybody out. A couple of folks do that, but the majority is because overall they are listening to music,” he shared.
“I noticed at the time that it’s a good place for things to be interconnected.”
'ATL Is A Cultural Melting Pot'

Samuels explained that Atlanta is the perfect place for this conference because “ATL is a cultural melting pot.”
“Because of that, we wanted to give people bites of not just one type of food or one type of experience,” he said. “We wanted to give people the opportunity to really vibe out from other walks of life and other flavors of life.”
RenderATL was created with the mindset of not only learning but also enjoying learning and getting ahead of the curve.
“They can come to this conference and not just have a good time but also learn and open their minds to things that are on the cutting edge and things that will be helping to push technology forward,” Samuels said.
The Future Looks Bright For The Atlanta-Based Conference

Growing the conference to be bigger and better every year is part of Samuels plan.
“I think any growing company, the plan is to make it bigger every year. We’ve gone from only 300 attendees to now over 5,000 or 6,000 attendees,” he said. “Our goal is to continue to make it bigger.”
RenderATL is June 11-13 in Atlanta, Georgia. Schedule of events, information on speakers, and other information about the conference can be found on their website and Instagram page.
