In April, The Blast shared that Meghan and Prince Harry caused controversy with their conduct when they attended a summit in New York City, where an awkward moment caught the attention of onlookers.

On their arrival, Harry reportedly reached out his hand to hold Meghan's as they exited their vehicle, but she seemingly ignored his gesture. A body language expert noted that while Harry appeared to be in the role of the "spare," Meghan seemed to take the lead in the situation.

As they stepped out, Meghan focused on greeting a woman waiting for her, leaving Harry to adjust his attire and watch the interaction. The source added that the mystery woman appeared to be Meghan's assistant, which explained why they were engrossed in the discourse.

As Meghan and her alleged assistant rounded up their conversation, the entrepreneur reportedly led the way into the event, allowing Harry to fall behind her.

As noted by The Blast, royal author Tom Bower shared in his book that Prince Harry and Meghan's marriage did not receive an immediate nod of approval from his late mom, Princess Diana's family.

Since his mother was not alive to witness his marriage to the love of his life, he turned to his mother's family to arrange the introduction in 2017. Diana's siblings, especially Charles Spencer, voiced their reservations about their marriage plans, as he urged Harry to take his time.

Diana, known for her warmth and compassion, shared a close bond with her younger brother, Charles Spencer, and her two older sisters, Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Lady Jane Fellowes.

In a BBC interview that year, Harry expressed that he believed his mother would have been thrilled about his relationship with Meghan. He suggested that Diana would have likely become best friends with Meghan.

However, Bower noted that Harry was disappointed that Diana's family did not see the same similarities between her and Meghan. They felt that Meghan would struggle to fit into the Royal Family, a sentiment that left Harry feeling uneasy.

Charles's advice to Harry about taking time elicited a strong reaction from Harry, who later reflected on how challenging it would be to establish Meghan's place within the family.

Against all odds, the royal wedding between Harry and Meghan eventually happened in 2018. However, a royal insider, Tom Quinn, revealed in his tell-all book "Yes Ma'am: The Secret Life of Royal Servants" that Harry fell short of some of Meghan's financial expectations.

The Blast reported that Quinn explained in his book that the entrepreneur did not expect her new husband to be a double-digit millionaire, given his status as the brother of the future king of England.

At the time, the prince was reportedly worth £20 million, and her realization led to a period of deep introspection within the Duchess of Sussex.

The mother of two was also stunned by her new living condition, which saw her move into the humble Nottingham Cottage at Kensington Palace with no standby staff to attend to her needs.
