Rudy Gobert's pregnant ex-girlfriend reportedly threw shade at the NBA star on Instagram over the weekend. Her shady posts, which featured quotes and subliminal messages, came weeks after the mother of one claimed Gobert kicked her and their 1-year-old son out of his house following a messy breakup.

According to TMZ, Gobert's ex-girlfriend, Julia Bonilla, posted several messages over the weekend that people believed to be shade directed at the NBA player.

In the initial report, the publication said Bonilla shared a graphic that read, "You have every right to speak your truth—to share what happened and how it affected you. Their discomfort isn't your responsibility. If they wanted to be seen in a better light, they should've treated you better."

TMZ also reported that Bonilla posted an image of her and Gobert's son, Romeo, to her private account, telling her followers that they'd be "home, at peace and filled with love" soon enough.

Bonilla's reported social media posts came weeks after news broke that her relationship with Gobert had come to an abrupt end. Sources close to Bonilla said they were shocked by the news, considering the couple was seen snuggled up together after the Minnesota Timberwolves' matchup against the Utah Jazz in April 2025.

After their breakup, reports stated that the NBA player asked Bonilla, who is currently pregnant with their second child, to leave his home and take their 1-year-old with her.

Insiders revealed that Bonilla hoped to return to France with her son, Romeo; however, the three-time NBA All-Star requested she stay in the United States until they reached an agreement regarding custody.

It's still unclear what caused the split between Bonilla and Gobert; however, it's clear that the separation has been a challenge for Bonilla to process.

"I'm going through one of the most painful times in my life, feeling isolated, far from my family and friends," she wrote on social media after the initial reports surfaced. "I considered Rudy the love of my life. I left everything for him. I gave him a child and poured my heart into our relationship," she continued.

"When everyone criticized and insulted him, I stood by him, always putting him first and choosing him, always," Bonilla added.

Despite their relationship's messy end, Bonilla said she'd stand by his side regardless of "how I've been treated."

She added, "I am a mom, and I must prioritize my health and well-being. Thank you for respecting my privacy during this challenging time."

Sometime after the dust surrounding their split had settled, Gobert released a statement of his own, claiming "inaccurate information" was circulating. The NBA player noted that he plans to continue "supporting the well-being of all the people that I care about."
