Savannah Chrisley has been on cloud nine since her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, were released from federal prison, thanks to a presidential pardon from Donald Trump.
Since their release, the reality star has provided her family's fans with several updates about their reunion, and most recently, Savannah Chrisley recalled what it felt like to wait for her father outside the prison gates in Pensacola, Florida.
Savannah Chrisley Says She Felt Like Princess Diana While Waiting For Her Father's Release From Federal Prison
On the most recent episode of "Unlocked," Savannah shared with her listeners what she had originally planned to do the day her father, Todd, was released from prison.
“My plan of attack was to go and stand in front of the press and give the press conference that they wanted,” the 27-year-old said. "I also [wanted to] state that I hope that the Bureau of Prisons and FPC Pensacola would abide by [President Donald] Trump‘s order that he signed, which was for them to be immediately released.”
While waiting, however, Savannah said she had quite an experience with some of the bystanders, which made her feel especially royal.

“People were handing me their babies. Their kids were coming up to me. I was holding hands and holding babies, which people got photos of,” Savannah said about the overwhelming moment.
“When I looked back at it, I was like, ‘Oh, this felt like such a Princess Diana moment to me.’ Of just loving on people and them loving on me as well.”

Before picking her father up from prison, Savannah updated her Instagram followers about the phone call she had with President Trump, in which he told her that her parents would be set free.
“The president called me personally as I was walking at the Sam’s Club and notified me that he was signing pardon paperwork for both of my parents. So both my parents are coming home tonight or tomorrow, and I’m freaking out,” she said in a video.
“The fact that the president called me. I will forever be grateful to President Trump, his administration, and everyone along the way,” she stated.
In a video shared by one of the President's official staffers, the reality star turned politician had a brief conversation with Savannah and her younger brother, Grayson Chrisley, who told them that their parents' incarceration was a "terrible thing."
"But it's a great thing because your parents are going to be free and clean, and I hope we can do it by tomorrow. Is that okay?" he then said.
Trump continued, "We'll try getting it done tomorrow. So give them — I don't know them, but give them my regards and wish them — wish them a good life."
Chase Chrisley Also Expressed His Gratitude For Trump

And Savannah and Grayson aren't the only Chrisley children singing President Trump's praises. In a separate interview, Chase Chrisley also thanked the 78-year-old and "his entire administration" for reuniting him with his parents.
He shared a similar message on Instagram, accompanied by a photo of his parents together.
"God is so good! Our rocks are back!! Thank you to Mr. President @realdonaldtrump @potus for making a remarkable decision and bringing our family back together! We love, support, and thank you, Mr. President! God bless you and your entire family! Continue to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!" the post's caption read.
Inside Todd and Julie's Plan To Return To TV

Now that Todd and Julie's combined 19-year prison sentence has been vacated, reports suggest that the couple is eyeing a massive return to reality TV. However, they want top dollar for their story.
According to a producer, the couple's hoped-for seven-figure check is just too much for their production company to finalize a deal.
"We would love to work with them, but their price tag is way too high," one producer said.
Another producer revealed that the couple was hoping for at least $5 million, saying that's where "the conversation starts," but they were really counting on a "bidding war to take the price higher."
"What everyone has to decide is what a Chrisley show will look like. What will the angle be? That's important in deciding what the cost should be," they added.
Finally, a third producer shared that they'd be interested in putting the Chrisleys back on television if all parties agreed to a fair contract.
"They're hungry for a good deal. And if we can come up with one. I'll put them back on TV. Because people will watch," they said.
