Donald Trump's past friendship with Diddy recently resurfaced during a Q&A session with reporters in the Oval Office.
The President of the United States has been handing out pardons to several incarcerated celebrities like Todd and Julie Chrisley. Still, one reporter wanted to know if the list would extend to his old pal.
Although Donald Trump noted his relationship with the embattled rapper has been nonexistent for years, he declared his intentions to consider clemency for Diddy if he were found guilty. However, the POTUS would only step in if the rapper deserved freedom.
Donald Trump Claims He Would Consider Pardoning Diddy If The Situation Called For It

When queried about his relationship with Diddy and the possibility of pardoning him, Trump stressed that the pair's once rosy friendship "busted up" when he got into politics. Despite their estranged bond, the leader of the United States declared it wouldn't affect his ruling in the future.
Trump said that if Diddy was convicted, but he believed the rapper was being "mistreated," he would consider granting him clemency. However, he added that he could not weigh in on the certainty of his helping out his former pal, as he had not been keeping up with his sexual assault drama.
The politician, perTMZ, noted he would have to "look at what's happening" and "look at the facts" before Diddy could make the presidential pardon list. Nonetheless, having Trump as a possible lifeline must be great news to the entertainer who has vehemently denied the charges against him.
A Go-Go Dancer Namedropped The President In Her Allegations Against Diddy

Trump might want to pay closer attention to Diddy's case, as he was part of the celebrities dragged into the music mogul's scandal. Last October, The Blast reported that a go-go dancer who worked for Diddy namedropped the most famous faces she noticed at his infamous "white parties."
The woman, Adria Sheri English, claimed she saw Trump, Reverend Al Sharpton, Busta Rhymes, Ja Rule, Diana Ross, and more at these events.
Although she noted she was coerced into sleeping with famous and influential people, the alleged victim did not disclose their names due to her pending lawsuit against Diddy.
In her allegations, English noted she started performing as a go-go dancer at Diddy's parties in 2004, thinking it was a legitimate business. Contrary to her expectations, the rapper allegedly began asking her "to do actual favors with the guests," sexual acts that were secretly recorded and used for blackmail.
The Alleged Victim Claimed She Was Manipulated With False Promises

English claimed Diddy began recording her sexual activities with celebrities or influential people after discovering her past as an adult film actress. She alleged he used the tapes to exploit others while promising her a career in Hollywood.
"So what he did was threaten me, manipulate me, promise me, and not deliver, not pay me what he said he was going to pay me," English claimed. She noted Diddy was financially compensated whenever she slept with his guests, yet all she got were false promises.
English also implied that not everyone who attended Diddy's infamous parties knew what happened behind the scenes. She shared that the alleged sex orgies known as "freak offs" often took place in separate rooms away from the "main party."
Celebrities Are Reportedly Taking Cover Amid Diddy's Sexual Assault Case

Diddy's sexual assault case kicked off early this month, with emerging reports of celebrities concerned about being dragged into the legal drama. TMZ founder Harvey Levin shared the news, claiming some A-listers did not wish to testify.
He claimed these stars were worried they could be ordered to take the stand in Diddy's trial and have lawyered up to avoid that outcome. So far, entertainers like Kid Cudi and Diddy's ex-girlfriend Cassie have already testified as "star witnesses" in the case.
Nonetheless, Levin believed the prosecution might call on other famous people, but he had no idea who these A-listers might be. He noted there were still four weeks left of testimony before the opposition handed it over to the Diddy's defense, meaning other star witnesses might pop up.
Will Diddy Beat The Sex Trafficking Charges?

Diddy faces five felony charges for racketeering conspiracy, two counts of sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, and two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. He initially faced single counts for these alleged crimes before additional charges were added in April.
Levin argued that Diddy might have a difficult time beating the sex trafficking charges thanks to Cassie's scathing testimony about her harrowing experiences. He believed her allegations proved he coerced her into performing in his "freak-offs."
"So, I think Diddy has a big problem there if the jury believes it. Diddy also has a problem with the interstate transportation of sex workers, I think," Levin explained. As for Diddy's other charges, he suspected the racketeering allegations might not stick.
Will Diddy be found guilty and earn a pardon from Donald Trump, or will he successfully prove his innocence?
