Offset is reportedly dealing with tax debt as his divorce continues to heat up!
The rapper is not ready to let go of the high life, and he wants the court to ensure that Cardi B does not leave him financially behind. As the rapper’s tax debt nears $2 million, he is asking for spousal support and joint custody of their children.
Cardi B, who married Offset in 2017, filed for divorce in August 2024. The pair share three children, and as their split plays out in court, Offset’s financial woes are taking center stage.
Offset Hit With 7-Figure Sum In Unpaid Taxes

Offset’s money problems are stacking up fast, and so are the government notices. The artist now owes nearly $1.9 million in unpaid federal and state taxes, according to public records.
In March, the Georgia Department of Revenue filed a state tax lien against Offset, listing an original debt of $167,916.02. That amount has since ballooned to $294,712 thanks to added interest, penalties, and other fees.
Just a month later, the IRS came knocking. On April 23, the feds hit Offset with a separate tax lien, claiming he failed to pay more than $1.5 million in federal income taxes for 2021 alone.
According to documents obtained by In Touch, the combined total for the two liens is $1,866,978.73. So far, neither the state nor the federal government has released the claims.
The Migos Rapper Wants Spousal Support From Estranged Wife

This financial pressure comes as Offset continues to navigate a contentious divorce from Cardi. The star is officially asking Cardi for spousal support as their court proceedings continue to unfold nearly a year after she filed to end their marriage.
According to TMZ, the 33-year-old recently submitted an updated response in their ongoing case, requesting that Cardi pay him spousal support, although he did not specify the amount. He is also still pushing to split custody of their three kids, while asking that they primarily live with their mother.
It is the first movement in their divorce in months since Cardi filed back in August 2024. The process has stalled behind the scenes.
Now, things are heating up again as Offset fights to maintain the lifestyle he is used to, even as he faces mounting tax debt. The divorce has not been entirely peaceful either, and Offset's new filing makes it clear he is not backing down.
The 'Clout' Hitmaker Fights To Overturn Six-Figure Lawsuit

Apart from his divorce, Offset is also trying to wipe out a major legal judgment tied to an alleged assault and he is claiming he never even knew about the case.
The singer is pushing to overturn the six-figure ruling against him in a Miami lawsuit filed by Leamsy Izquierdo and Humberto Crespo. The two men accused Offset of being involved in a physical altercation, allegedly sparked by drama involving Cardi.
Offset claims he was never properly served with the lawsuit and is challenging the claim that legal papers were handed to him at a packed nightclub. He argues that the chaotic setting with loud music and crowds of fans made it impossible for anyone to officially serve him.
In his filing, Offset also emphasized that he has no connection to Florida, where the lawsuit was filed, and believes the entire case should be tossed.
Inside The Strip Club Fight Over Cardi B

The October 2021 lawsuit accused Offset of assaulting two men, Leamsy Izquierdo and Humberto Crespo, at Booby Trap On The River in January 2020. The incident allegedly began after Cardi, Offset’s wife at the time, was sprayed with champagne by someone in the crowd, prompting him to confront the person.
Video from the scene appeared to show Offset swinging at people in the crowd. Izquierdo and Crespo later claimed they were among those injured, alleging Offset jumped from a VIP section to attack them without warning.
They said they suffered serious injuries that required medical treatment and claimed the club’s lack of security made things worse. The court ultimately ordered Offset to pay $232,000, $123,000 to Izquierdo, and $109,000 to Crespo.

But fans were not buying it. Many mocked his quick reply, accusing him of still being caught up in the situation despite claiming otherwise.
