Kanye 'Ye' West is not backing down from the allegations leveled against him by a former employee.
Last year, a complaint detailing scathing allegations against the controversial rapper was filed anonymously by a man using the pseudonym John Doe. The plaintiff claimed he was a longtime employee of Ye, performing tasks such as keeping tabs on his wife and former in-laws.
The accuser alleged Kanye 'Ye' West owed him money for unpaid services, including investigations on his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, and her reality TV family's alleged ties to criminal organizations. Now, the entertainer is fighting back with new arguments to get the allegations against him thrown out of court.
Kanye West Demands The Removal Of The Allegations Against Him

According to new court documents, Ye's attorney fired back against his former employee's claims and demanded that the court withdraw part of his allegations. The list included the "irrelevant claims" about him ordering his accuser to investigate the Kardashians and keep tabs on his wife, Bianca Censori.
The allegations that Ye wanted to be thrown out of court also included claims that he used nitrous oxide. His attorney slammed these accusations as "patently inflammatory," stressing that they were irrelevant to the plaintiff's unpaid wages complaint.
The legal rep's arguments didn't end there, with demands for the former employee's identity. Per the legal documents obtained by In Touch, Ye's lawyer argued:
"The complaint alleges serious misconduct, including threats, retaliation, and violations of labor laws and child protection statutes—yet [John's] identity is shielded from scrutiny without legal justification. There is no basis on the face of the complaint to justify anonymity under governing law."
The Rapper Plays The Identity Card In Legal Battle

Ye's attorney put forward a compelling argument, noting the plaintiff painted himself as "a sophisticated former military intelligence professional who engaged in investigative and public-facing work for a prominent figure."
Based on these descriptions of his skills, the lawyer insisted that revealing his identity would not place the former employee in danger. The legal rep pointed out that he should be forced to disclose his name instead of proceeding with the case under a pseudonym.
Ye'srep claimed that allowing the man to continue to hide his identity was a disservice to the rapper because it negatively impacted his defense.
The attorney explained the entertainer needed to know who was suing him to be able to verify his accuser's claims, investigate his employment history, and possible litigations.
Ye's Accuser Dropped His Claims In 2024

The legal drama between Ye and his former employee began last year, with The Blast reporting the story. In his legal complaint, the rapper's accuser alleged he was owed money for several pay periods and investigative work carried out under his then-employer's orders.
The man recalled joining Ye's team in 2022 during his failed presidential run. He served as "The College Dropout" hitmaker's campaign manager before getting promoted to Director of Intelligence. His new position allegedly placed him in charge of Ye's NDAsand other investigations.
The rapper's accuser claimed he was tasked with hiring private investigators to "tail" Ye's wife without her knowledge. These detectives reportedly watched Censori during her solo trips, including visits to her family in Australia. The investigations also extended to Ye's former in-laws, the Kardashians.
The Yeezy Founder Allegedly Investigated His Ex-Wife's Ties To Criminal Organizations

According to Ye's accuser, he was ordered to keep an eye on his ex-wife and her family because of their "supposed various criminal links." The former employee claimed his then-boss believed the Kardashians were involved in "sex trafficking."
The plaintiff had no problem carrying out these alleged orders, but working for Ye became unbearable when his attitude suddenly did a complete 180. The man claimed the media personality began displaying erratic behavior in May 2024 and suspected the change was linked to his nitrous oxide usage.
He noted the period Ye began using the gas, he implanted titanium grills on his teeth and started dismissing employees involved in the leadership of his Yeezy brand. The firing spree also affected the plaintiff, who claimed he was terminated for telling Ye about the child abuse complaints at his Donda Academy.
Kanye West Plans To Remain At A Retreat In Spain

Days earlier, The Blast shared news of Ye's absence in his legal battle against his former employee. The rapper's legal rep revealed he would not be able to appear in court due to his health and current treatment at a retreat in Spain.
The attorney stressed that Ye's non-appearance was not deliberate, backing up his claims with statements from the entertainer's longtime doctor. The legal rep insisted that the medical practitioner noted the importance of Ye's continued stay at the treatment facility.
The doctor advised that Ye should attend any deposition remotely, with the retreat's owner agreeing with his recommendation. The media personality's plea to remain at the Spain facility came weeks after reports claimed Ye and his wife were gearing up to sue his dentist for supplying him with nitrous oxide.
