Jennifer Lopez Erases Ben Affleck From Her $21M Home After Split With Major Renovation

Jennifer Lopez is turning the page, starting with her real estate.

The 55-year-old superstar is reportedly in the middle of an extensive makeover of her newly purchased $21 million estate in Hidden Hills, California.

Jennifer Lopez's decision to renovate her mansion follows her split from husband Ben Affleck.

According to a source who spoke with Daily Mail, Lopez is giving the property a “sexy glow-up” and sparing no expense to make the sprawling estate truly her own.

“Jennifer is renovating the home to her satisfaction,” the insider shared. “She is spending a lot of money because it's big. There is the main house, the pool house, and a guest house.”

Located in the same gated community where stars like Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Kris Jenner, and Kylie Jenner also reside, the 2.5-acre property is nothing short of spectacular. The estate features a 10,046-square-foot main house, a barn and stables, a riding arena, a guest house, a pool, and luxury amenities such as a private theater, chef’s kitchen, and fully equipped gym.

“She renovates every home she moves into because she wants a certain look, the J.Lo touch, which makes the place her very own,” the source added. “She has great style, so she makes everything better. And she had very specific ideas for this place. Jennifer wants it light, bright, and flirty.”

The renovation appears to be more than just a design project. It's a symbol of her next chapter. That new chapter comes just days after Lopez lit up the 2025 American Music Awards with a performance that had fans buzzing.

During her jaw-dropping six-minute medley, the Grammy winner powered through 23 songs and turned heads with a series of surprise kisses. As she danced to Teddy Swims' hit “Lose Control,” Lopez passionately kissed both a male and female backup dancer, sparking instant reactions.

"How cool is it to have a total superstar like J.Lo hosting the AMAs?" Tiffany Haddish asked following Lopez’s performance. "Our host has just danced to 23 hits in six minutes. Just from that opening number alone, Jenny from the Block has got all her steps in for the day, and she got all her kisses in."

She then quipped, "Save a dancer for me, J.Lo. Damn! You ain't the only one out here single."

The home itself marks a fresh start after her breakup from Affleck, her husband of two years. The Hidden Hills location also places her about an hour away from Affleck’s residence in Brentwood, where he lives near his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner.

Adding to the estate’s star-studded history, the property was previously owned by Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman John Fogerty, who purchased it fromSylvester Stallone before selling it to Lopez.

Meanwhile, Lopez and Affleck are still in the process of offloading the $61 million Beverly Hills mansion they purchased together in May 2023.

The couple first attempted to sell the home off-market but officially listed it in July for $68 million. Known as Crestview Manor, the jaw-dropping 38,000-square-foot property includes 12 bedrooms, 24 bathrooms, a 5,000-square-foot guest penthouse, caretaker’s quarters, a guardhouse, and a 12-car garage.

Not to mention a home bar, gym, boxing ring, basketball and pickleball courts, and parking for up to 80 vehicles.

Lopez seems to be fully embracing her newly single era, not just on stage but in her career as well.

While she focuses on her upcoming “Up All Night: Live in 2025” tour, which will take her across Europe and Asia this summer, she will first headline the World Pride Music Festival, set to take place on June 6–7.

“I’m excited first to go do Pride,” she told PEOPLE. “I’m working on that show right now, too, as we speak, and crafting the tour as well. I’m excited to get back out there.”

With a tour on the horizon, a Pride festival performance in the works, and a viral red carpet moment still trending, Jennifer Lopez is making it clear that she’s never been more in control of her spotlight.
