Kristin Cavallari's 'Intuition' Leads To Shocking Breast Health Discovery

Kristin Cavallariis getting real about a terrifying health scare involving her breast implants and says it all began with a gut feeling she couldn’t ignore.

The 38-year-old "Laguna Beach" alum and jewelry designer, who shares three children with ex-husband Jay Cutler, opened up on her "Let’s Be Honest" podcast this week, revealing that she recently had to undergo surgery to "redo" her breast implants.

The surgery came after Kristin Cavallari's doctor discovered a ruptured implant that had silently gone unnoticed for who knows how long.

“My intuition was saying, redo your boobs. Go get your boobs checked out, at least a consultation,” she shared, explaining that something about her right implant didn’t feel right. She scheduled a visit with a plastic surgeon in Nashville, who, upon examination, was “a little concerned” and suggested further exploration.

“My boobs were not laying how I wanted them to lay,” Cavallari admitted, initially chalking it up to aging implants she’d had for eight years. But what the surgeon discovered during the procedure shocked her. One of her implants had ruptured.

“There is no way of knowing how long this implant was ruptured for,” she said.

Because of the rupture, Cavallari explained, her body had formed a large mass of scar tissue around the implant as a protective response. “It kind of holds it all in place. It's your body's way of protecting itself,” she said.

Still, the outcome was unsettling. “That's why my right boob was definitely not laying right. And it was f-cked up.”

Cavallari called the experience “crazy,” admitting she has no idea when the rupture happened or how long her body had been dealing with it. “I guess, maybe, I could go through my camera roll and try to figure out when my boob started going a little f-cking cross-eyed,” she joked.

Looking ahead, Cavallari said she’s now in a place where feeling and looking her best is a top priority.

“Right now, in my life is when I need the best boobs imaginable. I’m sure some people won’t understand that and that’s OK, because it’s not your body. It’s my body and I am very healthy,” she continued. “If my vanity is going to come into play with my boobs. That’s one area where I’m like, ‘You know what? Yeah, I’m going to put silicone in my body.’ I’m going to do it and I’m happy about it.”

In the newly released trailer for E!’s upcoming docu-series "Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour," the "Laguna Beach" alum gets raw and unfiltered, revealing that this isn’t just a typical return to the screen. It’s Kristin at her most exposed, unfiltered, and headline-worthy.

“It’s been five years exactly since I’ve had to do this,” she said during a confessional, reflecting on her hiatus since "Very Cavallari" wrapped in 2020. “This is my least favorite part of any show,” she admitted, showing a moment of real vulnerability while stepping back into the world of reality television.

But while the nerves are real, so is the excitement.

The new series will follow Kristin on her "Let’s Be Honest" podcast tour, offering a behind-the-scenes look at life on the road, and all the unscripted drama that comes with it.

“I am kicking off the 'Let’s Be Honest' podcast tour and a docu-series about the entire journey,” she shares in the trailer. “The whole point of this tour is to talk about the most scandalous headlines that I’ve been in.”

And if the sneak peek is any indication, Kristin isn’t holding anything back. “I want to give them something to write about!” she declares with a smirk. “Let’s give them some damn headlines.”

Earlier this month, the "Very Cavallari" star made headlines after flaunting her chest in a see-through top, going braless in what fans dubbed a bold return to the spotlight. One Instagram follower cheekily declared it “Nips Out Summer,” while another teased, “Why is it always so cold where you are?!”

Of course, not all the commentary was positive. One critic accused her of being “thirsty,” writing, “If you're not that well known anymore and want some attention… well, then you show a bit more in photos.”

But if Cavallari’s story proves anything, it’s that listening to your body, and your instincts, can be life changing. And no matter what trolls say, she’s not hiding any part of herself.
