Erin Reflects On Cancer Diagnosis Ahead Of Marriage To Jarret Stoll

Erin Andrews and Jarret Stoll tied the knot in June 2017, less than a year after Andrews faced a life-altering health scare.

In September 2016, the NFL sideline reporter was diagnosed with cervical cancer, a moment that added urgency and clarity to her fertility journey.

Speaking to Health magazine just weeks after their wedding, Andrews expressed her gratitude for having undergone IVF treatments prior to receiving her diagnosis. “Instead of being embarrassed about it, look at how incredible it is that we had an oncologist say to us, ‘There is an option,’ in case [the cancer] comes back,” she shared at the time. “We don’t know what the future entails.”

Erin Andrews Says Son Mack Is Already 'Crushing It' On Skates

It looks like Erin Andrews and Jarret Stoll have a little athlete in the making. Their son Mack, who turns 2 in June 2025, is already lacing up his first pair of hockey skates, and according to his mom, he’s off to an impressive start.

During a guest hosting appearance on "TODAY with Jenna & Friends" in May 2025, the sports personality proudly shared that Mack has taken a serious interest in sports, particularly hockey, unsurprising given his NHL-star dad.

“The big thing in our house right now is getting my son, Mack, almost 2, to walk in hockey skates,” Andrews said. “Because when we get him on the ice, he’s already got the balance.”

With a laugh, the proud mom added, “Can’t hold a spoon, but my man can hold it up on the skates! Whew!”
