Alice Evans has shared that she's "so embarrassed" after needing to turn to fans for help amid her financial issues.
The "The Vampire Diaries" actress previously disclosed that she'd hit the "lowest point" in her life and was at risk of being homeless, together with her daughters.
Alice Evans was embroiled in a court battle with her ex-husband Ioan Gruffudd after the actor filed a restraining order against her.
Alice Evans Reveals She's 'So Embarrassed' As Her GoFundMe Receives Over $16k In Donations

Evans has admitted that she's "so embarrassed" after turning to fans to help her out of her financial struggle.
More than a week ago, the "Fascination" actress said in a social media post that she'd hit "rock bottom" and begged fans for a spare room, noting that she and her daughters "have nowhere to go."
According to the Daily Mail, Evans claimed in court documents earlier this month that she was facing eviction as her financial situation had become "dire" following her divorce from Ioan Gruffudd.
She subsequently launched a GoFundMe campaign and has already raised an incredible $16,927 from generous fans. However, she didn't hesitate to point out that she felt ashamed for having to turn to the public for help.
"I'm so embarrassed about this. If you're here, you know my story. You know how much I struggle to keep my two girls healthy and happy and a roof over their heads," she said.
"You know what I've been through. It never ends. I'm just getting squeezed in every which way and smeared in the media so that nobody even wants to employ me," Evans wrote.
The Actress Is Now Able To Move Her Furniture

As she looks to settle the whole thing, Evans revealed that she's made progress and can now move her furniture into storage next week, after she initially explained that she was unable to cover the moving costs.
"Quick update. The donations have allowed us to afford a moving truck and a persons to help us move all our furniture into storage next Saturday," she shared, per the Daily Mail. "This is amazing because my main worry was having to abandon it here. Looking for temp accommodation after that and will keep you posted."
Evans added, "I am so incredibly grateful and humbled by your generosity. I cannot explain how low things got last Wednesday when I reached out. I am unbelievably appreciative and forever indebted to you all. Thank you.'
Alice Evans Claims Ex-Husband Ioan Gruffudd's Support Is Not Enough For Her

The 56-year-old actress accused Gruffudd of "intentionally" refusing acting gigs during their split to keep his income low so that he didn't have to pay her more.
The former couple met on the set of their 2000 film "102 Dalmatians" and married in 2007, but split in 2021 following rumors of marital discord.
The "Fantastic Four" actor agreed to pay her $3,000 per month in child support and $1,500 a month in spousal support in September last year, per the Daily Mail. However, Evans has seemingly protested that the $4,500 fee isn't enough to live in L.A.
In her 60-page filing, she wrote that the money is "insufficient to cover the children's and my basic necessities," even when combined with her earnings from attending fan conventions.
The Actress Blasted Ioan Gruffudd For Saying He Doesn't 'Believe' Her Eviction Claims

Evans slammed Gruffudd in a March filing for saying he "does not really believe" she was facing eviction and that she secretly had the money to pay for it.
"He went on to testify that I was faking eviction in an effort to make him look bad and negatively impact his public image, and even, quite bizarrely, to 'increase Alice's personal exposure,'" the actress shared.
She continued: "Apart from the fact that this is simply untrue, it is both shocking and offensive that Petitioner would stoop to such a level as to accuse me of faking not only my own impending homelessness and level of poverty but that of the two children we share who he has chosen not to see in order to affect him in some way."
"I am astonished by his assertions," Evans added.
The 'Fantastic Four' Star Accused His Ex-Wife Of Attempting To Give Their Daughters Cocaine

Earlier this month, Gruffudd raised disturbing accusations against Evans, alleging that she attempted to give cocaine to their two young daughters and invited a drug dealer into their family home.
The troubling allegation emerged when he attempted to renew his restraining order against her, claiming she continues to harass him despite their bitter divorce 2 years ago.
The 51-year-old actor noted in court documents that he received a call from his children in July 2020 saying their mother was "openly consuming cocaine," and witnessed her try to give their daughters some while he was on a FaceTime call.
He also alleged that she barged into a meeting he had with a teacher in their children's school, even though they'd not booked an appointment at the same time.
"I signed up to attend a private parent-teacher conference at my children's school on November 17, 2022," he wrote in his court declaration, per the Daily Mail. "I selected the final appointment of the day to ensure no possibility of running into Evans and confirmed that Evans had not signed up to attend a conference."
"My private meeting with my child's teacher was in progress when Evans stormed into the classroom. I went into a state of shock," he penned, adding elsewhere that Evans gave him and his new wife, Bianca Wallace, the middle finger when they bumped into each other in the street in 2023.
