Biel surprised the hosts of "The View," especially Whoopi Goldberg, when she revealed a rather unconventional habit: she sometimes eats in the shower.

The 43-year-old actress explained that as a busy mom of two boys, combining meals with shower time is her way of saving precious minutes in a packed schedule.

Though Biel acknowledged the practice is "weird" and "gross," she assured the panel that she has limits.

"I have some boundaries," she said. "I'm not gonna eat a steak in there. But you know what, I really like to drink my coffee in there. And then sometimes other things come in, like protein bars and stuff. It's so gross and weird! I'm sorry!"

Whoopi Goldberg Was Puzzled By The Actress's Bathroom Hack

Co-host Sunny Hostin didn't seem too bothered by the idea, but Goldberg was baffled. Her reaction? A long, puzzled stare into the camera, which prompted laughs from the audience.

"I know, Whoopi, I'm sorry!" Biel said, noticing the look. "Now you don't want to be friends with me anymore."

In response, Goldberg said: "No, no, I'm trying to think. That's a lot of multitasking. Because not only do you have to get away from the water, you have to get the food in your mouth, and then you've gotta get a towel because some little kid's about to get in."

Biel first gained attention in December 2023 when she posted a TikTok of herself peeling and eating a blood orange in the shower. The following month, she shared her guide to this unusual habit.

The actress said, "Here's my rules with shower eating: a ledge is really helpful, [somewhere] you can stick your cup, your yogurt container, your coffee, your espresso, whatever it is you're enjoying."

She continued: "But I like to take a bite or a sip and put it on the ledge, and then you do your thing. You wash your hair — keep the soap out — that's a big deal. It's pretty simple, guys. You can do this."

According to the Daily Mail, Biel also advised against eating with your mouth open to avoid water.

Biel's visit to "The View" came just hours ahead of the premiere of her latest project, "The Better Sister," which debuted Wednesday night at the Museum of Modern Art.

The new Prime Video drama is based on Alafair Burke's 2019 novel and features Biel and Elizabeth Banks in the lead roles of estranged sisters, Chloe and Nicky.

Biel not only stars in the series but also executive produces through her company, Iron Ocean Films.

Banks, who also serves as an executive producer via her Brownstone Productions, spoke about their creative partnership during a "Good Morning America" interview.

"We've never actually worked together before," she said, "and it happened very naturally."

Biel added that people have long said they resemble one another. "I think it's the cheekbones," she joked.

Banks responded warmly: "I wish I looked more like Jessica, she is one of the most beautiful humans in the world, it's a real compliment for me."

During her appearance on "The View," Biel also recalled her unusual audition for the lead role in "The Notebook."

She described the chance to play Allie in the 2004 romantic drama as "the greatest option," but the timing was far from ideal, as she was in the middle of filming "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" when the audition happened.

Recalling the moment, Biel said director Nick Cassavetes and Ryan Gosling visited her on set to hold the audition inside her trailer.

"Ryan [Gosling] and the director came to my trailer, they came to us on location," she said. "And we auditioned in my trailer at work. And I didn't get it."

She noted how surreal it felt to shift from horror to romance on the spot, adding: "In my mind, I just remember having blood on me and being in that white tank top. I took my cowboy hat off, and I was like, 'Okay, I'd love to fall in love with you. Let's do this.' It was a very strange, very Hollywood moment."
