JoJo Siwa Kisses Chris Hughes At A Pool A Month After Claiming She Is No Longer 'A Lesbian'

JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes have seemingly confirmed their romance, as they were recently pictured sharing a poolside kiss.

The pair, who had previously insisted their relationship was strictly platonic, seem to have taken it to the next level as Siwa's mom approves.

JoJo Siwa started growing close to Chris Hughes after realizing that she was not a lesbian on "Celebrity Big Brother," subsequently dumping her former partner Kath Ebbs.

Siwa and Hughes are officially a couple after they were spotted kissing at a Mexican resort.

The pair previously raised eyebrows about the nature of their relationship as they seemed "flirty" with each other in the "Celebrity Big Brother" house, but insisted their relationship was just platonic.

This has, however, changed as the famous dancer and the former "Love Island" star packed on the PDA at the pool during her 22nd birthday celebration in Mexico with her family.

A source told The Sun that the duo "looked very loved-up as they snogged in full view of other holidaymakers."

"They spent their time at the hotel holding hands and looked like a giddy couple in the early throes of love. It was nice to see," the insider said.

"They were very hands-on - not entirely different to how they were on TV, just a bit more intimate. JoJo seemed totally relaxed, really in love, and not in any way the JoJo we see when she's on stage. They're just totally comfortable around each other," they added.

Siwa's relationship with Hughes seems to have also received the singer's family's approval, as her mom Jesslaynn took to Instagram to share snaps and clips from the past week.

In the post, the pair can be seen dancing together at Disney World before posing for a cozy picture together.

Another image captured the moment they reunited last week after Hughes flew for 12 hours to Mexico ahead of her birthday.

Siwa previously shared that she was unhappy to bid Hughes farewell when he flew home to the UK.

She said, "Tears coming from under the sunglasses."

Meanwhile, Siwa and Hughes would likely meet again soon as she revealed on Snapchat on Thursday that she's jetting back to L.A. for 48 hours before flying to London to headline her two shows next week.

Siwa and Hughes started growing close to each other when they both appeared on "Celebrity Big Brother" in the UK more than a month ago.

The "Dance Moms" star raised eyebrows at the time as she seemed particularly "flirty" with the male celebrity housemate despite being known as a lesbian at the time.

During a conversation with Mickey Rourke, she told housemates that she "likes girls," however, Siwa later confessed that she no longer identified as a lesbian.

This happened while she was chatting in the bedroom with "RuPaul's Drag Race" star, Danny Beard, as she noted, "I feel so queer."

Siwa added, "I've never - I think I've always told myself, I'm a lesbian. I think you - I think being here - I've realized I am not a lesbian, I'm queer."

"And I think that's really cool, I'm switching letters! I've dropped the L and I've gone to the Q, baby! That's what I love about sexuality," the singer further stated.

Beard, who identifies as non-binary themself, then said, "And you know what British people love more than anything? To queue!"

Having revealed that she no longer identifies as a lesbian, Siwa subsequently "dumped" her then-partner Kath Ebbs after 3 months of dating, clearing the way for her to grow closer to Hughes.

At the time, Ebbs disclosed in a TikTok video that the singer "dumped" them.

"I don't even know where to begin. I'm filming this in a complete state of shock," the content creator said in a since-deleted video, per Page Six.

Ebbs continued, "I honestly feel so numbed out right now and so disorientated [sic] that I feel like the only thing I have to do to place this situation is to finally address it after two weeks of sitting back, watching certain things unfold and not being able to get any clarity from the person that it involved — who was, what I thought — one of the great loves of my life."

They seemed to be alluding to Siwa's "flirty" moments with Hughes on the "Celebrity Big Brother" show.

While opening up about their breakup with Siwa, Ebbs claimed it left them feeling horrified and heartbroken.

"It has come to my attention in the past eight hours that everything we sort of saw unfolds on what I thought was a fake reality show where I didn't need to worry about the validity of my relationship was, in fact, laced in a lot of truth," Ebbs explained.

Ebbs added that they were dealing with "probably one of the most craziest, intense, awful, horrific experiences" they'd ever experienced in their adult life.

They further noted that they felt "betrayed" by Siwa's behavior on the show.
