Cher's troubled son, Elijah Blue Allman, now has to add divorce to the list of his worries.
The legendary singer's son's marriage has reportedly hit the rocks as his now estranged wife pulled the plug days after he was spotted appearing visibly troubled on the streets of Los Angeles.
Cher's Son, Elijah Blue Allman, and Marieangela King Allman were married for over a decade from 2013. Elijah first took a stab at ending their marriage in 2021 but had a change of heart in 2024.
Cher's Son's Wife Cited Irreconcilable Differences As Reason For Divorce Filing

Marieangela reportedly delivered her divorce filing by hand to her estranged husband at their California home a few minutes before 6 pm, three days ago, on May 17.
Elijah's ex reportedly filed for dissolution of the marriage over a month ago on April 8 at a Los Angeles court. She identified the date of separation as March 31, 2025, and cited irreconcilable differences as her motive for filing.
In her filing, Elijah's estranged wife made significant demands, which include the exclusive use of their marital home and a 2017 Toyota Prius V.
She gave the musician a way to hold on to the car's ownership if he agreed to a one-off payment of $2,000 and ensure a steady monthly payment of $500 spousal support for the car.
According to In Touch, Marieangela requested that the musician provide her with spousal support. She asked that his ability to collect any support be terminated.

The musician is also seeking retroactive payments that date back to the divorce filing, with acknowledgment of any voluntary payments made.
In addition to that, she is asking for temporary spousal support set at $6,000 per month, arguing that this amount reflects the marital standard of living and Elijah's financial capacity to pay.
Marieangela also demanded the court order her ex to offset her legal fees running to $10,000, with a promise that Elijah would be reimbursed any excess should they reach a settlement before incurring further legal expenses.
However, Marieangela's divorce filing reflected that if attorney and expert fees are used, she expects Elijah to cover all additional costs for himself and her until the final judgment is issued.
Marieangela Accused Cher Of Abducting The 48-Year-Old In 2023

As previously reported by PEOPLE, Elijah once initiated a divorce in 2021. After three years, he filed for a dismissal in 2024 during a conservatorship tussle with his mother, Cher.
Two years after Elijah filed, his estranged wife leveled strong allegations against Cher, precisely accusing her of orchestrating Elijah's kidnapping. Marieangela explained in their divorce proceedings at the time that the kidnapping was part of Cher's efforts to frustrate their marital reconciliation process.
The alleged abduction happened in late 2022, coinciding with the couple's ninth wedding anniversary. Marieangela explained that a man involved in the kidnapping disclosed that Cher had hired them.
Cher eventually reacted to the rumors in October 2023, reiterating that the claims were untrue and baseless.
The Iconic Singer And Her Son Went Back And Forth Over His Conservatorship Last Year

Elijah and his mother have been vocal about the cracks in their relationship due to Elijah's lifestyle struggles. In 2023, Cher sought a conservatorship over Elijah, citing his inability to manage his assets due to severe mental health and substance abuse issues.
Days later, Elijah objected to the actress's claim, emphasizing that he is in a sound state and managing his own affairs. He noted that he had achieved 30 days of sobriety, along with reconciling with his wife.
Unmoved by Elijah's rebuttal, Cher filed an ex parte motion, emphasizing the urgent need for the conservatorship, but a judge denied her request. The case went a notch in late January 2024, when Elijah and Marieangela submitted documents insisting that Cher was unfit to manage Elijah's estate.
Cher's ex parte motion was eventually denied, but not without reports revealing Elijah had been placed under several 5150 holds in 2023. In April 2024, Elijah reiterated his case against the conservatorship, declaring that while he had battled addiction, he did not have a mental illness.
By May 2024, the conservatorship proceedings were temporarily suspended, allowing both parties to work towards a private resolution. Cher and Elijah eventually reached a private agreement in September 2024, leading Cher to dismiss her petition for conservatorship voluntarily.
What is Cher Up To Recently?

Since settling with her son, the actress has channeled her energy into another worthy cause of providing a safe space for elephants, Billy and Tina.
As shared by The Blast, the singer spoke against the idea of rehoming the elephants who have lived in the Los Angeles Zoo for a significant time.
She explained that while moving them to Oklahoma may seem like a good idea on paper, it is no different from subjecting the mammals to a renewed life of captivity.
Other animal advocates have condemned the management of the Los Angeles Zoo for keeping the elephants in such a cramped space and risking their health.
However, the zoo officials emphasized that Billy and Tina are in excellent form and would join five other Asian elephants at the Tulsa Zoo in Oklahoma.
In 2020, the 79-year-old embarked on a brave journey across continents from Los Angeles to Pakistan to ensure the proper relocation of Kaavan, an Asian elephant subjected to a life of hardship in an Islamabad zoo.
Will this divorce between Cher's Son and his wife be amicable? Time will tell!
