Kyle Richards hopes her daughters won't choose the Bravo route, especially her oldest child from her relationship with Mauricio Umansky

The doting mother of four addressed Alexia Umansky's interest in joining the Housewife franchise, revealing she was not on board with that career choice.

Kyle Richards welcomed three daughters during her marriage to Mauricio Umansky, while her oldest, Farrah Brittany Aldjufrie, was born during her first marriage to Guraish Aldjufrie. The end of her second walk down the aisle is one of the reasons she is not so keen on her daughters following in her footsteps.

Kyle Richards Doesn't Want Daughter Alexia To Be A Bravo Housewife

Richards addressed Alexia's interest in joining the Bravo family as a full-time Housewife during a red carpet interview at the 50th Gracie Awards in Los Angeles on Tuesday, May 20.

"Oh my gosh. Can you imagine?" she exclaimed, noting she could not picture her daughter starring alongside her as a Housewife.

The Bravolebrity recalled that Alexia shared her thoughts on possibly becoming a Housewife after someone suggested the career path. "She said, 'Oh, I could see myself doing that.' And I thought, 'What are you talking about? You learned nothing from what I've gone through,'" Richards told PEOPLE, adding:

"I've already had two sisters on the show, now I have a daughter. Yeah, I'm okay. I think I'll have to pass on that."

Another reason Richards opposed her daughter's reality TV path stemmed from the end of her second marriage. Season 14 of the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" detailed her split from Umansky, making it not only an emotionally challenging season to film but also to watch.

Richards confessed that she didn't watch the season, noting that even when she found the show difficult to watch, she would push herself to do it. However, seeing her second marriage fallout on screen was something she could not bring herself to do.

She once confessed that she might not join the show's season 15 cast, stressing how "difficult" it was to have one's life depicted publicly and criticized. Richards' struggles with having her private life shown on TV might be another reason for her opposition to Alexia's Housewife interest.

Inside Alexia Umansky's Housewife Potential

Like her famous mother, Alexia is no stranger to the cameras as she has made multiple appearances on the 'RHOBH' series. Outside the Bravo show, she has cemented herself as a media personality and frequently keeps fans updated about her life on social media.

If Alexia chooses to go down the Bravo route, she has the potential to keep viewers entertained with her social vibes and unique life. She made waves last November when she got engaged to her longtime partner, Jake Zingerman, before recently celebrating their relationship milestone.

Bravo reported Alexia's engagement party was held at Richards' Encino home, with the soon-to-be bride updating her TikTok followers with a video from the event.

The 'RHOBH' Star's Other Daughter Suffered Hair Loss From Weight Transformation

Besides Alexia, Richards welcomed daughters Sophia and Portia from her second marriage. The Blast reported that her second-oldest child suffered from hair loss while using the popular drug Mounjaro to manage her weight.

Sophie shared the news with fans on TikTok early this month, noting that her hair had begun thinning "for the past three weeks to a month." She explained that she had been on the weight-loss medication for about four months before the hair loss began.

The media personality added that she believed the drug was not to blame for her hair loss. Instead, she suspected the sudden change in her weight and nutrient deficiencies had caused the unwanted shedding. Despite her explanation, critics blamed Richards.

Richards was draggedin the comment section of Sophie's video, with many blaming her for influencing her use of the popular weight loss drug. Someone suspected the Bravolebrity was also using Mounjaro, while another implied her alleged insecurities had influenced her daughter.

The commenter claimed Richards' complaints about her appearance had "definitely rubbed off on her girls." A third implored the entertainer to take better care of her daughter, stressing that Sophie had no reason to use a weight loss drug given her slender physique.

Richards faced similar backlash in 2023 following concerns about her sudden transformation. At the time, she denied following the Ozempic trend and credited her toned body to hard work and dedication at the gym.

"I have never taken it. I'm not on any weight loss drug," she declared, warning critics to stop spreading lies.

Will Kyle Richards' daughters choose a different career path, like she hopes?
