The NFL star is publicly throwing his support behind the singer amid Brown's U.K. arrest and arraignment over a 2023 assault case involving music producer Abe Diaw. The "Don't Judge Me" hitmaker was taken into custody by the Met Police on May 15 at The Lowry Hotel, just hours before he was due in court.
Chris Brown now faces serious legal trouble after being accused of attacking Abe Diaw with a tequila bottle during an altercation that allegedly left the producer badly injured.

The Singer Was Arraigned For An Assault Charge In Manchester Court

The Blast reported that Deputy Chief Crown Prosecutor Adele Kelly confirmed the charge, urging people to avoid online speculation that could disrupt the legal process. She emphasized that the case was now "active and that he has the right to a fair trial."
As for the Metropolitan Police, they noted that Brown was scheduled to appear at Manchester Magistrates' Court at 10 a.m. for the hearing. Despite the ongoing case, Brown's Breezy Bowl XX Tour dates in Manchester this June are reportedly still set to move forward, with no cancellations announced.

The father-of-three's arrest took place during the early hours of May 15 in Manchester. He was taken into custody around 2 a.m. at a hotel in the city.
Reports note that the Metropolitan Police confirmed the arrest in a statement, noting that Brown had been detained on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and remained in custody following the arrest. The statement reads:
"A 36-year-old man was arrested at a hotel in Manchester shortly after 02:00hrs on Thursday, May 15, on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. He has been taken into custody, where he remains."
Authorities added that detectives from the Central West Area Basic Command Unit were leading the investigation.
