The female rapper further bashed trolls and critics for attacking a victim instead of focusing on the person behind the gun. "FACTS ARE FACTS, he did it, it was PROVEN IN COURT f-ck the hate campaign on the internet TORY YOU SHOT ME !!" Megan declared.
"Ain't no new f-cking evidence y'all been saying the same sh-t for years TORY PLEASE LEAVE ME ALONE you a f-cking demon. I'm off this silly a-s internet sh-t, BYE," she concluded her message.

Megan Broke Her Silence Months After Her Restraining Order Petition

Megan's reaction to the widespread hatred comes five months after she filed a restraining order petition against Lanez last December. The Blast covered the story, reporting that she accused her alleged shooter of using third parties to harass her through blogs.
The Houston-born entertainer claimed Lanez launched a smear campaign against her before his incarceration and continued the act in prison. "Even now, while behind bars, Mr. Peterson shows no signs of stopping," Megan's attorney alleged in the petition, adding:
"Despite being sentenced to 10 years in prison for shooting Ms. Pete, Mr. Peterson continues to subject her to repeated trauma and revictimization."
Megan backed her claims with Lanez's prison call logs at the California Correctional Institution in Tehachapi, alleging they proved he had orchestrated a smear campaign against her using third parties.
The petition identified one blogger, Elizabeth Milagro Cooper, who was sued separately for acting as the rapper's "puppet and mouthpiece."
Lanez Vehemently Denied Shooting The Female Rapper After His Guilty Conviction

Following his guilty conviction and ten-year prison sentence, Lanez penned an emotional statement on his Instagram Story. He denied the allegations, stressing that he only took accountability for his actions in court, but that does not make him guilty of shooting Megan.
"I took responsibility for all verbal and intimate moments that I shared with the parties involved… that's it. In no way, shape, or form was I apologizing for the charges I'm being wrongfully convicted of," Lanez explained.
He maintained his innocence stance, noting he would never apologize for a crime he did not commit.
The rapper was convicted of three felonies, including assault with a semiautomatic firearm, possession of a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle, and discharging a firearm with gross negligence.
His case received renewed interest after a fellow inmate brutally stabbed him multiple times for unknown reasons.
Congresswoman Sparks Criticism Against Megan Thee Stallion Over Tory Lanez's Incarceration

Following reports of Lanez's prison stabbing. The Blast reported that Republican Florida Representative Anna Paulina Luna pushed for the entertainer's freedom. She addressed the situation on X, imploring Governor Gavin Newsom to review Lanez's case and issue a pardon.
"His 10-year sentence was based on flawed evidence, political pressure, and prosecutorial bias. Justice must be blind, not driven by headlines. Free Tory Lanez," her plea read. The congresswoman's words sparked criticisms against Megan, as many agreed she was not as innocent as she claimed.
"At one point, I was on Megan Thee Stallion's side, but I actually took time to read this case, Jesus Christ, bro... it is so messy and inconsistent.. and the people that are upset are the people that have never read into the case at all. They're just getting all their information from Twitter," one commenter argued.
Will the cries for Tory Lanez's release spark a new legal battle between him and Megan Thee Stallion?
