Tom Cruise Plans To 'Never Stop' Acting

Cruise is not considering retiring yet, as he revealed plans to keep acting well until he hits triple digits.
During the New York premiere of "Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning," Cruise was asked about a comment he made two years ago when he said he hoped to continue his film career until his 80s.
The "Top Gun" star, who's now 62, took it a step further as he said he wants to plans to keep acting until his 100.
"I actually said I'm going to make movies into my 80s," he told The Hollywood Reporter. "Actually, I'm going to make them into my 100s."
He added, "I will never stop. I will never stop doing action, I will never stop doing drama, comedy films. I'm excited."
Despite his age, Cruise hasn't stopped performing most of his own stunts and showing just how daring he is. In the film, he death-defyingly clings to a plane while it's midair, performs intense fight scenes, and an underwater sequence.
The Actor Shut Down Claims That He Is The 'Last Movie Star'

Elsewhere during the premiere, Cruise stopped for an interview with Entertainment Tonight, where he refused to accept the title of "last movie star," explaining that there are other "talented" actors he'd love to see "crush it."
The actor has often been conferred such honor by fans globally because of his commitment to creating blockbuster movies and continued Box office appeal.
"I don't want to be," he said, per Variety. "There's so many other talented actors out there, and I want to see them crush it."
Cruise noted that one such actor is Michael B. Jordan, whose R-rated vampire movie "Sinners" has become a critical and commercial success.
"I'm a huge fan of his. That film 'Sinners' is amazing," Cruise said, adding, "We're going to make a movie together."
"It's going to be a great summer of movies," Cruise told the news outlet. "We got the 'John Wick' series with Keanu [Reeves] and Ana [de Armas]. You got Brad [Pitt] with 'F1.' I'm looking forward to going and everybody having a good summer."
Tom Cruise Weighs In On Risk Associated With His Film Stunts

Despite his willingness to take on more risks, Cruise admitted there's risk to it as he emphasized his willingness to take it on.
"People ask if I'm not scared when facing various difficulties. Honestly, I am," Cruise said, per Korea Times. "It's okay to feel those emotions, and I'm not afraid of them. I don't just look for what's safe."
"It's not what I do, it's who I am," he said. "There hasn't been a day that I have not felt privileged, a day that I have not felt very grateful to be able to do what I do. Thank you for allowing me to entertain, it is an honor."
He also gave a peek into his work ethic and the philosophy of embracing challenges in producing new movies.
"We have a saying, which is 'pressure is a privilege,'" the actor said. "The thing I also have realized about myself is how much I enjoy the pressure, how much I enjoy the responsibility of making movies."
The Actor Intensifies Romance Rumors With Ana De Armas

It comes amid rumors that Cruise and actress Ana De Armas are romantically linked.
The pair have been spotted together on several occasions, particularly when they enjoyed a dinner date in London around Valentine's Day.
Last month, they went on a helicopter ride piloted by Cruise and were spotted strolling through a London park together.
They recently attended the 50th birthday bash of football legend David Beckham, with a source telling Page Six that they "had a blast."

A source told Us Weekly that Cruise is "super smitten" with de Armas and has been "courting her." However, she is "isn't looking for anything to move too fast" and is "taking it really slow."
Last Thursday, she weighed in on her "fun" relationship with the actor during an appearance on "GMA," saying that they were working on "a few projects" together.
"It's so much fun. We're definitely working on a lot of things. Not just one, but a few projects with Doug Liman and Christopher McQuarrie and, of course, Tom. And I'm so excited," she said, when asked about working with Cruise.
