The anniversary post, set to The Proclaimers' classic "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)," featured a bulletin board-style layout centered around a paper labeled "Our Love Story." Surrounding it were photos that traced their journey together over nearly a decade.

The visual timeline began with a selfie from 2016 when the couple first met in London, followed by travel shots from Botswana and Norway.

Their 2017 engagement shoot and 2018 royal wedding were also highlighted, along with nods to their dogs, personal family crest, and lyrics from "Stand by Me," which was performed at their ceremony.

There were also candid images of baby Archie and Lilibet, including an ultrasound photo, Harry cradling newborn Archie in 2019, and Meghan holding Lilibet in 2021.

Inside The Sussexes' Royal Wedding

The lovebirds' royal wedding made headlines around the world, not just for its glamour, but for how it stood apart from tradition. According to PEOPLE, the couple wed at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle in front of family, friends, and a global audience.

Their choice of wedding date broke with royal custom. While most British royal weddings are held during the week, Prince William and Kate Middleton married on a Friday, and Harry and Meghan opted for a Saturday.

Their invitations were traditionally royal, designed by Barnard Westwood and stamped with Prince Charles' golden three-feathered badge. Unlike his brother William's Westminster Abbey ceremony, Harry chose the more intimate St. George's Chapel, a 500-year-old venue steeped in royal history.

One detail sparked public speculation, an empty seat beside William, which many believed honored the late Princess Diana. However, as the outlet clarified, it was left open to ensure Queen Elizabeth, seated just behind, had a clear view.

The couple stuck with traditional vows, promising to support each other "for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health," but Meghan, like Princess Diana and Kate before her, chose not to include "obey" in her vows.

Harry and Meghan's 2018 wedding was not just a royal affair but a celebrity-packed celebration. Alongside senior royals like Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles, Prince William, and Kate Middleton, the chapel pews were filled with A-list faces.

Meghan's close friends, including tennis legend Serena Williams and actress Priyanka Chopra, were in attendance. Her "Suits" co-stars Abigail Spencer, Gabriel Macht, and Patrick J. Adams came to support their former castmate, with Adams bringing his wife, Troian Bellisario.

Harry's ex-girlfriends, Cressida Bonas and Chelsy Davy, both attended the big day. Famous couples like George and Amal Clooney, Victoria and David Beckham, and Carey Mulligan with Marcus Mumford added more star power to the event. Oprah Winfrey also scored an invite.

The entertainment did not disappoint either. Idris Elba took a turn as DJ during the reception, while Elton John performed during the wedding luncheon.

As Meghan celebrated her seventh wedding anniversary, fresh reports surfaced revisiting a moment from the royal wedding prep that allegedly did not go so smoothly.

The Blast reported that new details emerged about alleged tension between Meghan and palace staff during a menu tasting at Windsor Castle ahead of the 2018 ceremony. A source claimed:

"Meghan was at the castle to taste some of the dishes, and told one of the caterers she could taste egg. She got quite upset, saying that the dish was meant to be vegan and macrobiotic."

The scene reportedly caught the attention of the late Queen Elizabeth II herself. A second source shared that the late monarch entered the room and immediately stepped in. "'Meghan, in this family we don't speak to people like that,'" the Queen allegedly told her.

Reports of Meghan's time as a working royal included insiders claiming her treatment of palace staff left lasting damage and even inspired a group dubbed the "Sussex Survivors Club."

The group reportedly included former employees who worked for Meghan and Prince Harry and allegedly struggled so much with their experiences that some were left emotionally shaken, with claims of post-traumatic stress.

The drama did not end with the royal wedding. Royal historian Hugo Vickers claimed Meghan's behavior remained an issue during her time at Frogmore Cottage, where she allegedly clashed with staff on multiple occasions.

One incident reportedly involved her being rude to a Windsor gardener so much that the head gardener went to Queen Elizabeth II with a complaint.
