Despite winning the 2024 US Presidential elections, Donald Trump continues to go against Kamala Harris and has now dragged Beyoncé and other entertainers into their feud.
In the early hours of Monday, May 19, the US president shared two posts on Truth Social where he made unverified claims about Beyoncé, Bruce Springsteen, and more.
Trump accused the entertainers of accepting payments to perform at Harris's rallies.
Donald Trump Calls For Beyoncé And Others To Be Investigated

In the first post, Trump targeted American rock singer Bruce Springsteen, claiming he accepted payment from Harris.
The president asked, "HOW MUCH DID KAMALA HARRIS PAY BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN FOR HIS POOR PERFORMANCE DURING HER CAMPAIGN FOR PRESIDENT? "
He continued, "WHY DID HE ACCEPT THAT MONEY IF HE IS SUCH A FAN OF HERS? ISN’T THAT A MAJOR AND ILLEGAL CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTION?"
Trump then mentioned Beyoncé, media mogul Oprah Winfrey, and U2 frontman Bono.
He wrote, "WHAT ABOUT BEYONCÉ? …AND HOW MUCH WENT TO OPRAH, AND BONO??? I am going to call for a major investigation into this matter."
Trump Explains Why The Entertainers Should Be Investigated

Donald Trump stressed that "candidates aren't allowed to pay for ENDORSEMENTS, which is what Kamala did, under the guise of paying for entertainment."
He also said her alleged actions were "a very expensive and desperate effort to artificially build up her sparse crowds."
Trump added, "IT’S NOT LEGAL! For these unpatriotic “entertainers,” this was just a CORRUPT & UNLAWFUL way to capitalize on a broken system."
He concluded by thanking everyone for their "attention to this matter!!!"
Donald Trump Accuses Beyoncé Of Receiving $11,000,000 To Perform At Kamala Harris Rally

In another post, over seven hours after the first, Trump made more allegations against Beyoncé.
He wrote, "According to news reports, Beyoncé was paid $11,000,000 to walk onto a stage, quickly ENDORSE KAMALA, and walk off to loud booing for never having performed, NOT EVEN ONE SONG!"
The 78-year-old continued his war with Harris and the Democrats by claiming, "Remember, the Democrats and Kamala illegally paid her millions of Dollars for doing nothing other than giving Kamala a full throated ENDORSEMENT."
He then described their alleged actions as an "ILLEGAL ELECTION SCAM AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL!"
Trump concluded, "IT IS AN ILLEGAL CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTION! BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN, OPRAH, BONO AND, PERHAPS, MANY OTHERS, HAVE A LOT OF EXPLAINING TO DO!!!"

Several fans took turns reacting to Donald Trump's posts about Beyoncé and other entertainers, with most of them slamming the president over his allegations.
One person noted that Beyoncé and the other entertainers Trump mentioned "endorsed" Kamala Harris "because she was the actual better candidate with good policies." They added that the president's campaign had B-list performers like Amber Rose and Kid Rock.
Another person slammed Trump for still speaking on the election though it was six months ago. They wrote, "mind you the election was 6 months ago and he still wakes up going on rants about Kamala."
A third X user shared, "Sounds like pure fiction, zero proof, just another wild claim."
However, some netizens sided with Trump and believed Harris paid for endorsements. One such person wrote, "You know what? I believe Trump! I've never seen celebs get so political, have you? I mean the simping!"
Another person added, "He is 100% correct on this."
Did Beyoncé Really Accept Payment To Endorse Kamala Harris

Trump's claims about Beyoncé have elicited wide-ranging reactions, with many wondering if the famous singer received payment to endorse Harris.
Although Trump claimed news reports suggested Beyoncé was paid 11 million dollars, finance records from Perma.cc did not show that she or others the president mentioned were paid.
In addition, Harris's campaign has denied in the past that artists were paid to perform at her rallies.
When rumors of the alleged payments first surfaced last year, the campaign's senior spokesperson, Adrienne Elrod, told Deadline, "We have never paid any artist and performer. We have never paid a fee to that person."
Beyoncé's mom, Tina Knowles, has also vehemently denied that her daughter received payments to speak at Harris's rally. She did so via a post on Instagram in November.
Knowles said at the time, "The lie is that Beyonce was paid 10 million dollars to speak at a rally in Houston for Vice President Kamala Harris. When In Fact : Beyonce did not receive a penny for speaking at a Presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harrris's Rally in Houston. In fact she actually paid for her own flights for her and her team, and total Glam."
