Meghan Markle is back making headlines for allegedly being a thorn in the side of many during her time in the United Kingdom.

The former actress became the Duchess of Sussex and joined the British Royal Family after tying the knot to Prince Harry in 2018. However, their highly publicized wedding sparked various speculations, including reports of tensions with her sister-in-law Kate Middleton.

The women reportedly clashed over Princess Charlotte's ill-fitting bridesmaid dress, with reports claiming Meghan Markle made Kate Middleton cry. However, the Duchess claimed the opposite happened in her tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey, but new sources beg to differ.

Before stepping down from her royal position in 2020, Meghan faced several bullying accusations. These allegations resurfaced thanks to royal biographer Katie Nicholl, who claimed sources noted the Duchess of Sussex was a pain ahead of her royal wedding, not only because of the bridesmaids' dress drama.

One source detailed Meghan's allegedly rude interaction with staff during a menu-tasting event at Windsor Castle, saying, "Meghan was at the castle to taste some of the dishes, and told one of the caterers she could taste egg. She got quite upset, saying that the dish was meant to be vegan and macrobiotic."

The Duchess of Sussex's allegedly heated response to staff did not sit well with the late Queen Elizabeth II, who immediately cautioned her. "Suddenly the Queen walked in and said: 'Meghan, in this family we don't speak to people like that,'" the source recalled per The Daily Mail.

Meghan's alleged rudeness to staff didn't end at her royal wedding, with royal historian Hugo Vickers claiming there were more incidents during her time in Frogmore Cottage. One scenario saw the former actress being rude to a gardener.

The Duchess of Sussex's behavior towards the staff was so bad that the head gardener in Windsor had to complain to the late Queen. "She told her off because she obviously didn't like people being rude to staff," Vickers said about Elizabeth II's reaction to Meghan's alleged rudeness.

Meghan's days as a working royal saw her clashing with more staff and reportedly hurting them so badly they formed a "Sussex Survivors Club."

The group allegedly included heartbroken ex-employees who worked for the Sussexes and "lived to tell the tale." Some of these members reportedly had post-traumatic stress disorder.

One of Meghan's alleged victims was Melissa Touabti, a Frenchwoman who worked for Robbie Williams and his wife, Ayda Field, before joining the Sussexes. She served as the Duchess's assistant and reportedly played a key role in the royal wedding, per historian Robert Lacey.

However, Touabti resigned six months after Meghan walked down the aisle because she was "traumatised" by her boss's horrid behavior. Lacey detailed an incident between the pair in his book "Battle of Brothers," claiming the media personality "went mental" on her PA.

The incident saw Meghan asking Touabti to "order some personally embroidered red blankets for the guests at a Sandringham shooting party." However, the blankets that arrived weren't in the shade of red she wanted, leading to her harshly berating the PA for the mistake.

The bridesmaids' dress drama between Meghan and Kate began over Princess Charlotte's ill-fitting outfit. The Blast covered the story, reporting that the Princess of Wales insisted her daughter's dress was too large and baggy to be worn for the wedding.

Meghan reportedly noted a tailor would adjust the dress at Kensington Palace; however, Kate wanted the outfit remade. Her demands allegedly escalated the tensions between them days before the wedding, with Prince Harry claiming it made his wife cry.

Other sources argued the Duchess of Sussex made Kate cry and painted her as the villain. Harry and Meghan alleged that Kate acknowledged her faults and apologized with flowers and a handwritten note. In the Duke's words:

"Kate got things rolling straightaway by acknowledging that these stories in the papers about Meg making her cry were totally false. 'I know, Meghan, that I was the one who made you cry.'"

The bridesmaids' dress drama resurfaced this month after a recent royal biography by Tom Quinn addressed the incident from a new perspective. He shared the comments of a royal staffer who claimed the tensions affected both women and not just one of them.

"I can tell you that all the papers and commentators got this wrong, the truth is that as with many of these spats between sisters, brothers or even sisters-in-law, both sides were really upset," the source explained. They claimed the media blew the incident out of proportion, describing it as a "storm in a teacup."

According to the royal staff, Meghan and Kate both said things they later regretted, with the Duchess feeling worse about their estrangement after her sister-in-law's cancer diagnosis. Last July, a source claimed Meghan was "remorseful" and contemplated mending ties with the royal family.
