Singer Aubrey O'Day has recently slammed Sean "Diddy" Combs for allowing his adult children to be present while harrowing testimonies are shared at his federal trial, where he faces charges of sex trafficking and racketeering.
On a podcast, the former Danity Kane member opened up about her recent trip to New York, touched on Cassandra "Cassie" Ventura's emotional testimony, and blasted her former boss for being "selfish."
Aubrey O'Day Questions Sean 'Diddy' Combs' As A Father And Slams Him For Allowing His Kids To Be Present During Emotional Testimonies

While appearing on Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes' podcast, O'Day, who met Diddy in 2005 on "Making the Band," wasted no time sharing her thoughts about his high-profile trial.
Throughout the past week, shocking testimonies have been shared from people who witnessed or were victims of his alleged crimes, including his ex-girlfriend, Cassie, another "MTB" cast member, Dawn Richard, and a hotel security guard.
They all shared graphic details about Diddy's alleged appalling behavior, including instances of physical and emotional abuse.
Diddy has been supported by his family members, including his young adult children, in the courtroom. However, O'Day doesn't believe his federal trial, where he faces life in prison if convicted, is the place for them.

“The fact that the kids are marching up to that court, praying over everything, and walking in with a bunch of women also that are encouraging it,” O'Day said.
“I don’t know any father that would want their children to sit through testimony about how much their daddy liked to watch people [get] lubricated, f-cking, getting pissed on and urinated in their mouths, having his girlfriend come in the other room and rub their c-m all over his nipples,” she continued, referring to statements Cassie made during her time on the stand.
O'Day asked the podcast's hosts whether they'd want their children present during such a time, adding, "It's concerning to me."
"The optics of them being there and supporting [their] father are obviously a very strong play for the defense," she stated.
Aubrey O'Day: 'I Would Not Ever Want My Child To Hear Anything Like That'

O'Day, who's been open about her tumultuous relationship with Diddy over the years, continued and slammed the rapper for being "selfish."
“You’re a father first and as a father, I just wouldn’t want my two girls — that are only a year younger than [Cassie] was when he started dating her, 19,” she said. “I believe the girls are around 18. I would not ever want my child to hear anything like that.”
She added, “It’s telling to me. It means that [Diddy's] being selfish and he needs — in my opinion — it feels like, ‘Daddy needs you in court because daddy needs all the optics to look in his favor,’ and I don’t really care what you have to sit through."
The 41-year-old explained that Diddy's choice to have his children present during the trial reminds her of the "narcissism and ego" she encountered when they worked together in the early 2000s.
“And that, to me, is just showing that same narcissism and ego and dare I say coercion that we’re discussing about this man. You know, his needs come first. What he wants comes first," she said.
O'Day Is 'Really Proud' Of Cassie For Sharing Her Truth

Elsewhere, during her time on Robach and Holmes' podcast, the "Damaged" singer praised Cassie for being "honest" and "open" on the stand.
"It feels very open, vulnerable, and horrific," she said.
She also expressed her admiration for Cassie and the growth the "Me & U" singer has displayed since her relationship with Diddy, which lasted from 2008 to 2018.
"Sometimes I hear her discuss things that she did then and how now she would never, she understands it differently, and that makes me feel like so happy for her that she's come, you know, because I don't know her as a mom, so like to understand that she made that evolution and went to the other side of viewing all of it made me feel like really proud of her," she said.
Aubrey O'Day Likens Diddy To A 'Groomer'

During Cassie's emotional testimony, the mother of two recounted several difficult moments where she felt pressured to have sex with male escorts for Diddy's pleasure. While on the stand, she also had to read several pages of text messages between her and Diddy from when they were in a relationship.
O'Day commented on a specific text exchange in which Cassie seemed to be trying to tell Diddy that she wasn't interested in participating in one of his alleged "Freak Offs."
"It's not even anything anyone's really touching on, but there was a transcript that I read that went something like, 'I don't really, or can we talk? I wanted to bring something up to you,' and he's like, 'Okay, yeah, you know you don't want to do the freak out now. You [are] so predictable,'" O'Day said.
"That's a very... It's a statement that groomers make," the singer continued. "If you've ever dated anyone that doesn't really love you, and is like abusive usually, and pushing you into things."
She added, "And then you get that feeling as a woman to be like no, wait, I'm not, I promise you, then talk yourself back into an idea, same way when she was brutally abused in that hallway."
